Adjusted to inflation, I am not earning much more but I am paying more taxes. See, I am paying the middle class singles tax. I am middle class and got no kids. So for this I get taxed to the max.. The Trudeau / Carney Liberals give all the benefits to asylum seekers and those with 3+ kids. I pay taxes but get no benefit from it. When my parents came to the country in the 70s, all they got was $20 for child allowance. Now the Liberals shower ppl with money for having kids and we singles get the bill. Not to mention if you are a renter, you are also screwed. The Trudeau / Carney Liberals mass uncontrolled immigration ensures the prices of houses and rents keep on going up. Those who already bought a home before Trudeau when prices were affordable are now sitting on a gold mine. There are many others in my situation. So you see why I am against wealth redistribution. Like Aristotle said - The worst form of inequality is to make unequal things equal. Trudeau's policies caused the biggest gap between the rich and poor ever seen. The wealthy will dodge taxes with tax havens like Carney did as chairman of Brookefield. The middle class is the one being squeezed the most and the stats tell all. The middle class is shrinking. Increasing middle class is a sign of a prospering economy.

It depends, Canada is very mismanaged and corrupt. So far under Trudeau, wealth inequality increased to the most ever seen. Norway is the exception. Canada is sitting on a gold mine, they can unleash our oil to fund a lot of these programs and cut taxes in half. And I already told you, I get zero benefit but keep on getting taxed more. Carney's latest budget has over $130 billion of spending with no plan to balance the budget. Same thing as Trudeau did. How will it be funded? It will be paid by us the ppl working a job. Interest rates will go up and the value of the currency will go down.
