That's not true. Carney did initially state, quite clearly, he would not present a budget. And then backlash came, and Carney realized that not doing one is not in the best interest of Canada. And it was due to backlash he relented.not really..... Harper took 4 months. People seem to be demanding a budget within weeks of Carney. 4 months would take us to mid summer, when parliament in not in session. Fall is fine and nothing unusual, but of course the Cons try to make a big deal out of any and every thing.
No one said it had to be a spring one. And because of the Tariff situation, upcoming G7 in Banff, other world happenings, and a need for the Govt to settle in, a fall "half budget" is appropriate.
But you clearly stated no one had done it that quickly. He did prove you wrong. You need to just own your mistake, just as he did with me.
