That's not true. Carney did initially state, quite clearly, he would not present a budget. And then backlash came, and Carney realized that not doing one is not in the best interest of Canada. And it was due to backlash he relented.

No one said it had to be a spring one. And because of the Tariff situation, upcoming G7 in Banff, other world happenings, and a need for the Govt to settle in, a fall "half budget" is appropriate.

But you clearly stated no one had done it that quickly. He did prove you wrong. You need to just own your mistake, just as he did with me.

He was unfit to be president, his doctors and inner circle knew it, and tried to hide it from the American People out of hubris. He should have announced his retirement after the midterms, the Democrats allowed an open primary to pick the best candidate, and gone to war.

But he's an ultra-finance professional? Isn't that one of the reasons people voted for him? His "experience"?
Why would he take so song considering he was advising the Liberals during Trudeau's tenure?
The party has been in power for a decade. It's not like he's in a new party that has just come to power. Most of his cabinet is the same as well.

My gut tells me that they're waiting to see if any of the remaining seats being reviewed will flip to Liberal so that they can forge ahead with a horrific budget without opposition.

As I said, if the Liberals course corrected, they copied. If they didn't it is just bad Liberal decision making.

But the conservatives have no policy specifics regarding immigration.
I read their platform, there is absolutely nothing in there that can even be remotely inferred to be similar to the Liberal's revision of immigration targets.
No specific numbers or targets or suggestions.
