It could be argued it was wrong if I had misrepresented the post by making it seem like the OP wrote something he did not.
But I did not do that and I said that I "fixed" his post, which made it abundantly clear that I edited it to correct it for accuracy.
Infact I kept the original text in.
So it was obviously not wrong and I provided the reason why.
You chose to edit someone's post rather than respond to it with your own words and in your own post reply.

Why would you be the arbiter of deciding what needs to be fixed in someone else's post and then editing it?
They were his own words not yours.

So simple question...is editing someone's posts acceptable and right, or unacceptable and wrong?

Actually he did bust yer ass on that one. You should acknowledge it.
not really..... Harper took 4 months. People seem to be demanding a budget within weeks of Carney. 4 months would take us to mid summer, when parliament in not in session. Fall is fine and nothing unusual, but of course the Cons try to make a big deal out of any and every thing.

That's not true. Carney did initially state, quite clearly, he would not present a budget. And then backlash came, and Carney realized that not doing one is not in the best interest of Canada. And it was due to backlash he relented.

No one said it had to be a spring one. And because of the Tariff situation, upcoming G7 in Banff, other world happenings, and a need for the Govt to settle in, a fall "half budget" is appropriate.

But you clearly stated no one had done it that quickly. He did prove you wrong. You need to just own your mistake, just as he did with me.

Shouldn't you be dissing Biden?

Lol. Nice deflection. What's the matter, can't man up when you are clearly wrong?

And judging from the book now out and his recent diagnoses, I was right. He was unfit to be president, his doctors and inner circle knew it, and tried to hide it from the American People out of hubris. He should have announced his retirement after the midterms, the Democrats allowed an open primary to pick the best candidate, and gone to war.

Instead they lost to Trump, again. How shitty do you have to be to lose to home AFTER his first term was there for all to see?

Crips you are on a roll now!

But he's an ultra-finance professional? Isn't that one of the reasons people voted for him? His "experience"?
Why would he take so song considering he was advising the Liberals during Trudeau's tenure?
The party has been in power for a decade. It's not like he's in a new party that has just come to power. Most of his cabinet is the same as well.

My gut tells me that they're waiting to see if any of the remaining seats being reviewed will flip to Liberal so that they can forge ahead with a horrific budget without opposition.

The edits were all my own words and were identified as such.
Completely acceptable.
You edited someone's post rather than responding to it with your own post. Their words were removed and replaced with your own.

Are you're saying that editing other people's posts is acceptable now? (simple yes or no answer please)

So you admit they course corrected but you think it is too late.
But you chose to lie that they stole from the conservatives which I already called out.
They course corrected after 9 years by copying the conservative policies to get elected.

Are you experiencing a stroke trying to understand that?

You called me a liar and I'm still waiting for your apology.

As I said, if the Liberals course corrected, they copied. If they didn't it is just bad Liberal decision making.
Your Olympic level mental gymnastics may be clouding your judgement.
But the conservatives have no policy specifics regarding immigration.
I read their platform, there is absolutely nothing in there that can even be remotely inferred to be similar to the Liberal's revision of immigration targets.
No specific numbers or targets or suggestions.
So as I said you lied and you should apologize to people for subjecting them to your mental gymnastics.

Trump is less fit to be President and I don't see you railing against him....covfefe!

Then you aren't reading my posts. I'm quite critical of him. What you can't fathom is it's possible to criticize BOTH men and be right to do so.

It's the difference between blind partisan politics and real understanding.

Nobody believes this.
You post endlessly about Biden and never about trump.

Yes and identified as such by me. Perfectly acceptable.
So as long as someone says they have edited someone else's post that is acceptable to you and they can edit others' posts at will then?

For those here that forget how Ontario's debt came to be...here's a hint...it wasn't Ford. It was over $300 billion 10 years ago thanks to 12 years of reckless Liberal financial management.

Published Jul 20, 2015
Ontario, the world’s most indebted sub-sovereign borrower, is ploughing ahead with Canada’s most ambitious infrastructure plan — risking the censure of Standard & Poor’s and underperformance for its $307 billion of bonds.

I answered clearly.
You seem to be asking the same question over and over again thinking it will result in a different answer.

You didn't answer clearly and your answer was about the specific post you edited.

So here's your opportunity to answer clearly:

Do you accept and condone editing other peoples' posts and believe there is nothing wrong with doing that?
Yes or no?
