Yesterday, Trump was glued to the TV (while downing a few dozen Diet Cokes and cheeseburgers). This is excellent stuff for him.

We are going to see more of such protests and unrest in the US with the Trump administration at the helm.
In my opinion we are seeing the beginnings of a potential civil war in the US in the long term.
Unless something is done to mitigate it.
Notice how most protests in the US now default to some form of violence or vandalism.
Its been that way for a while now.
Protests? these are riots fam....LoL... are we gonna see any "insurrection" cases from the democrats supporting these riots or should we wait for a single death from this first?

These LA riots is making a strong case why Jan 6 isn't insurrection...
Jan 6 was an actual insurrection where a bunch of Nazis and extremists stormed the capitol to overthrow the government.
That is an insurrection.
The LA riots is just protests gone out of control.
By the way if you cared to look, it was 20 something people arrested, as opposed to 1270 insurrectionists on Jan 6.
Keep grasping at straws and failing.
Even your vicarious bromance has fallen apart.

I am not sure if he is worse. Perhaps doing damage to America is good for the world in the long run. Maybe the USA will break up.
Maybe the U.S. will break up and reform with parts of Canada. North America can have four countries of almost 100 million.

Why didn't he send it on Jan 6? 🤔
Short answer, the National Guard was sent in.

The National Guard had a small group present at the beginning of the day to assist the D.C. police control traffic and logistics.
Once things got carried away Jan. 6 it was a bit late for immediate action. By early evening, the National Guard presence was significantly increased.

Isn't "insurrection" when you try and overthrow the government - like January 6?

It's not the same as a "protest", a "demonstration" or even a "riot".
Agreed, but that's why January 6th was never an insurrection, no one got charged with it and it never met the definition. So, if you think January 6th was an insurrection, so can these protest be. Sounds fair.
