Let me fill in some missing information from speaking with and knowing refugees

Work includes: Uber, factory work, under the table other work, medical experiments, sex work...I'm sure many of our members fucked refugees and Gave them money.

But also refugees have a network of families and often times they do have wealth they bring over from their homeland.

If you're a refugee from a country with already established community in Canada there maybe other help within that community.

Many people live in one overcrowded house.

There are many ways to survive..many of you are so full of money youre kind of out of touch.

So every dude I reply to is to try and gain a 'boner bro'? Interesting theory, thanks for stopping by.... :ROFLMAO:
Oh come on….. it is so obvious how excited you were. You thought someone was on “your side” and was going against me. It is clear as day. This is how you kind works.

Just like 2 people like your other post that I laughed at so in your mind you were winning and you got all butthurt with Squeezer calling him my white knight because he happened to agree with me. You are all about this stupidness of online right and wrong, sides and battles.

and BTW. I said bro bonner. Mean you got all hard at the notion of someone on your side. A bonner bro is someone you share bonners with. Two totally different things and I know for a fact Speaker is not on board with.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I'm open to believe that I'm not writing very well. However, what I said was this;

"Thus, unlike refugees - at last those in Waterloo Region - who get assigned Doctors and the like"

To me this is pretty clear that I'm saying refugees who end up in the Waterloo region get assigned Doctors. This has nothing to do with ODSP.

I'm uncertain why you're fixated on that I said (when I clearly didn't) , ODSP either don't get a doctor or ODSP are assigned one. I've clearly said neither.

Furthermore, you had stated, "you already have to have one to fill out the medical to get on ODSP.". I mean, no shit. I don't know why you think I said otherwise. For this is what I actually stated, "...ODSP recipients are forced to find their own Doctors." Pretty much what you just stated now isn't it?

I don't think you are but I'm trying to figure out if you're deliberately trolling me by deliberated mis-stating what I actually said with some sort of Straw Man for kicks and giggles.

As for the examples of your friend with her Dentist, assuming what you're stating is true (what you're being told by your friend), her Dentist is taking a HUGE HUGE financial hit on providing those services. ODSP barely covers costs and in many cases below costs. Something is fishy and this is far, far from typical - at least compared to here in Waterloo/Wellington region.

What you said...
"ODSP needs an overhaul and those people should be taken care of better and first before refugees. Point blank period. Nothing more really needs to be said. Just my opinion though" - we are saying the same thing.
I can assure you that she is getting what I say. I'm her POA. I take her to her medical appointments include dentist as she suffers from anxiety. It is why we interviewed wa few clinics and every one accepted ODSP. We didn't search out dentists that do or anything special, just looked up dentists with good reviews on google and went from there.

She gets 4 cleanings a year with gas. I know because I take her. She had root canals and fillings and they even put bonding on her teeth to do a faux whitening treatment. She is not the only person I know on ODSP and is getting dental.

But I do know my BFF in Timmins comes down here for dentist work because it is faster and cheaper to fly down here and get stuff done. Living in a small town it is next to impossible to get appointments. He is paying full price out of pocket. Small towns are different regarding medical/dental and have their issues unrelated to income/insurance so maybe that is why Waterloo is having more trouble then say Durham or Toronto.

So hence why I don't feel it is as dire as you made it out to be. I just felt you were exaggerating a bit.

As for the assigned doctor, I can see how I misread that I guess but how does a refugee getting assigned a doctor have anything to do with ODSP recipients? Which is who were you talking about. Everyone in Canada is not assigned a doctor so I'm sorry but you made it quite confusing that you were not relating the doctor/refugee issue with people specifically on ODSP. I mean why bring up doctors being assigned at all when you are comparing refugees to those on ODSP? And then double down saying that doctors are refusing ODSP patients? That one has me really confuses me.

It is NOT the same out here in Waterloo/Wellington region, I can assure you. You're assuming your experience is Universal which in many cases, is not true. It sounds like Durham has gotten extra funding possibly due to political connections and is sucking the other regions dry.

"As for the assigned doctor, I can see how I misread that I guess but how does a refugee getting assigned a doctor have anything to do with ODSP recipients? "
It was a comparison - not an equivalency - to illustrate the differences on how those without income are treated by the government. Here in Waterloo Region, they are automatically assigned a medical doctor via the local Public Health organizations. Just because you don't know something exists, does not mean it doesn't.

" And then double down saying that doctors are refusing ODSP patients? That one has me really confuses me."
Jeez Jen, get off this horse. I've already addressed this and this is the 3rd time. Are you doing this on purpose? Not reading any replies and just assuming I'm saying what you want me to say? I'm picturing that you've found my button and you're manically pushing it for kicks and giggles. At least I hope that's true. I'm not sure I like the alternative.

You're likely confused because I never stated medical Doctors refuse ODSP patients because they're ODSP. Feel free to go back and read what I stated about 'high touch' medical patients. In fact, if you reply, PLEASE feel free to quote the exact sentence I wrote. Moreover, I stated Dentists. While they are both called Doctors, surprising...wait for it....wait for it...they have different jobs and are paid differently. I suppose Vets are called Doctors as well but I'm hoping many won't confuse their job versus medical doctors and dental Doctors. Never mind PhDs right?

I'm starting to believe your social media - or at least TERB - response strategy is to purposely mis-state what someone has said. This way they spend their time correcting your obvious mis-statements instead of pointing out the flaws in your own arguments. e.g. You're projecting that your experience must be universal and is true for everyone. You'll notice I've included the phrase, "in Waterloo Region" multiple times so don't both stating that I do the same. 🤣
I’m not going to continue to go back and forth with because clearly it is getting frustrating for you and I don’t want that. I’m not purposely trying to push your buttons. So we will just leave it here. I apologize for causing you any distress.

So many friends that have stories of their grandparents coming to Canada with 10.00 or nothing in their pockets .
Starting businesses putting themselves through school to build a better life for themselves and their families.
