Interesting.
You expect a strong upswing in defense spending?
Or do you think they will redefine what counts as defense spending to make it to 5%?
I don't know all the parameters. We won't know until we get to 2035.

Fair enough.
I think it pretty unlikely, but then I suppose the world getting more chaotic may make that kind of increase pretty reasonable.

If those flight logs are from 1997, like they say on the side, then those likely weren't flights to the island.
Epstein bought the island in 1998.
Did he have the house when someone else owned it?
Does the log list the flight destination?
As far as I know those were flights from Florida to pedo island.
But they could have been to Zorro.
I'm sure if there are logs they show departure, destination and not just passengers and date.

Most of the flight logs don't seem to have destination obviously listed, although it can be deduced, I'm sure.
The ones you've posted up take place from 1993-1997, so all before Epstein had the island.
Of course, Epstein raped people in Florida, New Mexico, and New York as well. It's not like the island is the only place he did bad shit.

And Texas, not sure when Epstein had the Texas ranch as well.

trump really isn't acting innocent, with a possible pardon to Maxwell and getting the FBI to wipe his name from the Epstein files.

Then why are Governors, Senators, and Mayors all courting us? Begging us to come back? You might not think of us, but a shit load of border communities do.

And I think GM is talking out of both sides of their mouth. It would takes years to reset their supply chain and billions in investments. Just to see the next admin remove tariffs. They are already pissed about the Japan deal framework. And Japan is saying read the fine print.

As I said earlier. These aren't deals, just frameworks to appease things. The EU already has said their 600 billion pledge is meaningless as it's up to business. And several govts have said the deal is bullshit.

His 90 deals in 90 days isn't happening. And as for Canada and Mexico the USMCA is still in effect and the vast majority of trade is happening normally. Court challenges on the tariffs by US claimants are reaching decision soon.
The constitution is clear on who can impose tariffs.
Meanwhile what you and Trump don't get is this affects so much more than trade. The world just will stop buying American products. And travelling there. It's already happening. You think Europe and Japan is suddenly going to buy Ford F-150's? Huge SUV's? They won't fit on their streets, and guzzle way too much gas.

But hey, if you want to support a sales tax of 15% plus go ahead. Go look at Walmrt, Dollar General, Target, and various other retail pricing. They are passing it along as pre ordered inventory dries up.
As predicted, the Canadian delegation returned home from Washington without securing a meeting.

Better no deal than a shit one.

All these "deals" with Asia and the EU are frameworks to deals. Thats it. And for what ever personal reason Trump has it in for Canada. Maybe because Canadian banks told him to fuck off for loans. Maybe because of the way his wife and daughter drooled over Justin Trudeau. Who knows.

But if Trump has no interest in negotiations in good faith then there is no point. OTB do you really think domestic producers of tariffed products aren't going to raise prices to cash in in the USA when they can? That prices won't reflect cost?

Look at the volume of pre tariff trade that occured. Businesses stocked up. That stock it going to run low soon. Walmart and Dollar Tree are already raising prices.

It's the largest govt cash grab on American citizens possibly in history. A huge hidden sales tax. 100 of billions going into govt coffers paid by both businesses and consumers.

This is what you support?

Trump's behavior since this has come back into the spotlight has been more suspicious than any way he reacted to any of it before.
It's very weird and I'm still trying to figure out what exactly changed to make him act like this.

This round started with the Epstein fight and Musk's posts about the files.
I'd guess either Musk gained access to the files through DOGE or trump's dementia is getting bad enough he can't remember what he's denied already.

But is worried enough to pull a Netanyahu type distraction?

I'd argue it started when Bondi said "nothing here".
But they are close in time so that doesn't really matter.

Musk gained access to the files doesn't explain Trump's change in attitude, since those files already existed and Musk didn't report to Trump from what we know.
Dementia so he doesn't remember things is absolutely possible.
Another option is he was sure there was nothing too worrisome about sex but suddenly became aware there was shit about money.
I suppose it could also be that he saw things from when Epstein was caught and it didn't worry him, but because he wasn't in charge during the Maxwell thing, he didn't realize how much stuff they found while convicting her.

But is worried enough to pull a Netanyahu type distraction?
Sure.
I would doubt he would start with Russia, though.
There are much easier things to do.

And what do you know? from getting info from Megatron and Meidas touch and more fake news? You can't condemn Hamas, then you're a terrorist supporter. Keep nitpicking the dates...that's all you're good at.
richaceg, who is your source that you religiously follow?

We all condemned Hamas for what they did with the 1000+ killings in Israel.
Now we are also condemning the genocide by Israel in Gaza. Can you also condemn them?
By the way OP is cheerleading for Trump in his tariff so called "wins" against the EU, even if though it is considered to be a Trade War against Canada!!
ELBOWS UP for once to all you righties!!

Musk and trump were in the middle of a fight and I'd expect that trump thought there either was nothing in the files or they were well buried. Musk making the big xitter post implying he had access at the same time trump was threatening to cancel all federal contracts makes it look more serious. But those threats have died down so either Musk is afraid to go nuclear, they did make up or there is nothing there.

The Epstein/Maxwell issue that ignites the base is the idea that they are pedos while the trump pledge to take down the pedos was a major platform.
I'd argue that trump knows that was always the issue but thought that since Epstein was suicided under his watch he had taken care of the problem.

Sure.
I would doubt he would start with Russia, though.
There are much easier things to do.
He already tried war with Iran.
The genocide is starting to cost him so he can't really escalate that.
That leaves him finding another target and Russia might be big enough to stop all Epstein talk.

Correct me, but doesn't the "deal" have to be written down and ratified before it's an actual deal???

Critics are saying the "deal" as announced is ridiculous with Europe "committing" to purchase massive amounts of product and resources from the US, well above what Europe has ever purchased before, or could possibly require.

Hence my take that the EU is simply stringing Trump along while making no actual legal commitments.
