Jeff Blair was hard on Schneider after the game, too.Bring back Gibby!..LOL.
Schneider is getting ripped a new one on SN now..Caleb Joseph is pretty upset and he's usually diplomatic to the end.

The Seattle grounds crew waters down the area around home plate so that it's almost muddy. They primarily hit balls in the air so it has no effect on them. It paid dividends for them last night.Just bad luck. That's baseball.
I agree, to the extent we only had a one run lead when Little came in.While we are all upset over the bullpen move Schneider made, let's keep in mind it was a lack of offence that was a main factor in the loss. Bases loaded with none out and not one run. That's unacceptable.
The thing is if you put your best relievers in and lose at least no one will be second guessing you.I agree, to the extent we only had a one run lead when Little came in.
That's not a lock, especially with Springer out of the game and Seattle pitching around Vladdy, even if Schneider had put our best closers in instead of Little.
Maybe John Schneider is betting on baseball and betting against the Jays. Sounds crazy, but when you have the Cleveland closer guy betting on first pitch strikes that he himself throws… Anything is possible. It's almost like he was playing a hunch...Which is fine during the regular season I would say but not now.
I think schnieder may be developing a god complex. Looks like he's enjoying the spotlight too much. The walk to the mound for scherzer may have highlighted that.Maybe John Schneider is betting on baseball and betting against the Jays. I've been saying that myself. Total ego. Needing to prove that he is an analytical movement mastermind in the postseason. He needs to focus more on making the moves that he's expected to make ... and less about being overly innovative, showing he manages from such an intelligent acute angle.I think schnieder may be developing a god complex. He manages in the playoffs the way he does in the regular season. He thinks he needs to pull his starters early so their fresh for the next 30 starts when in reality they only have 2 maybe 3 starts and that's if they advance. He needs to be more like Cito and trust his veterans. There is something very wrong with John Schneider in the playoffs. He feels like he needs to prove his superior statistical analytical thinking. This man has costed so many situations because of bonehead managerial bullpen decisions over the years... he has done things that other managers would never do.. But I firmly believe the worst thing that John Schneider does is mess with momentum and mess with confidence.

I bet that Springer sits on the bench until they need him to pinch-hit.
