Home field advantage was in effect when Clement hit into that double play.
The manager Schneider made huge mistake today!!! Why did he take out the starter pitcher while he was still hot? Every time he over coaches the team bad things happen. Very disappointed by Schneider!!!
Is that a mandatory to take the starter pitcher out at 5 or 6 innings? Can the starter pitch 8 innings?

Gausman had thrown 91 pitches so the analytics would evaluate that it was time to take him out in a close game.
The Jays got 2 out of 3 in Seattle, the hardest ballpark to win in. Game 6 on Sunday. Go Jays Go!
Springer has a right knee contusion; X-rays are negative. Fingers crossed he can play game 6.
Schneider says you make a decision and move on...Jesus the last 21 appearances he's had an ERA over 6 with a WHIP of 1.88..It's crazy to bring him in there.
It was an absolute SHONDA to bring Little into the game with a tiny lead and big hitters coming up.
I started screaming at the TV screen when I saw that, cuz I knew he was going to blow it.

Agreed! The only way the Jays could win the next two games is without Schneider the manager. I am sorry for the Springer's injury and wish him speedy recovery.
What a Joy to watch the Jays boys playing their ball game till the manager showed up and shut down everything!

I feel bad for him. I was watching his face in the dugout as the disaster worsened after he got pulled.
I don't blame Little. It's not like he was a great reliever for the past month or so, and screwed up this one time.
I put all the blame on Schneider for putting Little in the game when he had better closers available in this very important game.
The Jays have never won a deciding Game 7 in the playoffs, they lost to the Royals in 1985. There's a first for everything.
