So then anyone acting up, just call them Antifa? How convenient. At least we can point to the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and other far-right neo-Nazi organizations who actually have membership lists, uniforms, and active recruitment channels. They organize, march, attack, and then brag about it online.
Meanwhile, “Antifa” isn’t an organization; it’s a loose ideology opposing fascism. No headquarters. No dues. No leader. It’s as organized as jazz—chaotic but with purpose. Yet because Trump and right-wing media needed a convenient boogeyman, suddenly every protester, barista, and college kid with a hoodie became “Antifa.”
And it’s the same playbook Trump used when he called the media “the enemy of the people,” and the right-wing crowd ran with it like it was gospel. Demonize the press, discredit dissent, and suddenly you control the narrative. It’s lazy politics wrapped in fear marketing, and the base eats it up like popcorn at a rally.
