Good Lord I just keep stumbling upon more genius musicianship from Curtis Mayfield by the day.

The guitar riff was sampled by the Hitmen for this banger from Ma$e feat. Total

One of my faves from the post David Ruffin era of the Tempts. Dennis Edwards on lead...

I have to admit haven't heard this one before but I like it. This is definitely one of my favorite 70's Temptations tracks.

Featuring Richard Street on lead

I don't think I've posted any Vesta Williams on here before. This was a quiet storm staple. Hit #4 on the r&b charts in 1988.

From Intro's second and final album. 'Funny How Time Flies' hit #25 on the R&B charts making it the most successful single from that album. The lead singer Kenny 'G Love' Greene had some kinda voice.

Estelle burst on to the r&b scene in 2008 with her song 'American Boy' which featured Kanye West. This one is from 2011 I just heard it on a blend mix CD I had. I really dig her voice

Angie got some skills. Pretty easy on the eyes to. This was an early 2000's summer jam.

This is from my favorite Usher album, My Way, released on LaFace Records in 1997. Production handled mostly by Jermaine Dupri.

Ralph Tresvant was the main vocalist for the group New Edition. In 1990 he released his debut solo album. The big song from there was 'Sensitivity' but there were a few other gems on that LP. This was one. Another slow jam

Another slow one from 1994. Blackstreet's Before I Let You Go. I loved their debut album. This song featured Dave Hollister on lead vocal, he departed the group after recording the 1st album.

Jodeci were kings of the early to mid 90's slow jams. This one is my favorite.
