All I'm doing today is cleaning my house and listening to music. Thank God for music I'd go nuts.

Me too. It's way too effing cold out there. 🥶

And this from a guy who grew up in Winnipeg lol...
Yesterday was damn cold too. My car was only showing minus 3 but it felt much colder than that.

Sad to hear about Brenton Wood. I posted a few of his songs, really dig his sound. Gimme Little Sign is obviously his shining glory but this one is my favorite. RIP 🙏

Jamiroquai was an acid jazz/funk band from the 90's and 00's. They were much bigger in the UK than in North America. The track I was most familiar with was "Virtual Insanity" which appeared on their 1996 LP 'Travelling Without Moving'. It actually never charted her but I do recall seeing the music video played on MuchMusic at the time. Fast forward to a week ago viewing of a YT video of a bass cover of the song "Time Won't Wait" by the same group. It was released back in 2005. Since then I've been playing it pretty consistently. I love finding hidden gems like this.

DJ Juice was a legendary mixtape DJ from Trenton, NJ. He passed away last week at the age of 54. One of the OG's in the art of blending. Taking a song's lyrics and using another song's music. He mastered it and inspired a line of future blend DJ's such as Ty Boogie, Danny Dee and Mista Rello. He was one of the first blend DJ's I had a record from, mixtape #39. His best one. RIP 🙏
