I call BS. If a shlemiel and you walked into a store and looked at $10K piece and he claimed having only $7,000 on him he would have no less of a chance to get 30% off than you, no matter what are you wearing and what's your spiel is.

First off I wouldn't walk in at the same time and get into bidding war. Secondly, are we talking cash, if so I'll bet most of his bills would be checked ....... and thirdly how much have I got to invest in this purchase? I've seen it happen, so it's not BS.

Watches, such an arcane word, timepieces, chronographs, works of art, geeesh, get with it and learn. If you don't like it, don't participate. It's like MGBs. you like them or you don't. You drive them or you don't. You throw money in a fire pit or you don't.
