The two do make for some interesting moments. It's almost as if Randy Jackson shouldn't even be there. It's as if the producer of the show said " Randy, you're the token black guy so I wan't you to act like the stereotypical black male. Maybe you can say dawg over and over and refer to everyone as man or dude".

I think it would be better if they got rid of Randy and just had Simon making fun of Paula while Paula comes back with arguments that don't make sense. At the end of each telecast the two of them can make out while Ryan makes a witty remark about their love/hate relationship.

I think he may have made this statement by his tone to Ryan tonight. When Ryan said "Simon", and then Simon in a annoyed tone said "What?" But in the end they fessed up and did the right thing with the time they had to work with.

Well, Mikala got the boot tonight, no surprise there. Mild surprise that Anthony was in the bottom three, and bigger surprise that Nadia was too. I don't know what that vote was all about, and I really don't understand how a cheeseball like Constantine doesn't do more poorly in this competition. Well, I did say mild surprise. I agree Anthony is boring. Hell, he is not even as interesting as Clay Aiken, but the dude can sing. As far as Nadia goes, I don't know if she was that bad, even though it was not a great performance from her. It seems the voters like to throw a scare into a strong performer now and then. As I recall, Fantasia had a bottom three performance last year too.

What I will say, however, is that although one can squabble about the order in which contestants go, the voting public usually does vote for the best performer at the end.

I think Bo was very impressive. But it's the votes that count. AI doesn't really attract the rocker type people. They may throughout the competition but I don't really see that type voting repeatly during the 2 hour voting time. But I do see the younger fans voting for their favs and possibly upsetting the deserved winner.

I think Bo is good enough to take it. He just has to keep up performances like whipping post. Carrie matched him last night with alone. And don't forget Nadia turner's try a little tenderness. If those three turn in performances like that consistantly the rest of the way, then its going to be a good race. I especially like the way Nadia looks like a bit of a junky, being all skinny and shakey in the face when she hits those high notes.

I really hope Jessica does well bc she is nice and she was crying at the end, even when that Yenta and Mother Yenta are making fools of themselves.

While watching the results show on HDFOX which is broadcast out of Detroit, during one of the breaks there was a commercial for the upcomming news where they always include an Idol teaser and this time it was to say that someone gets booted tonight but also that one of the Judges is in hot water. Anyone hear anything about the jugdges drinking and driving or something like that? Drugs maybe?
