Steve Bannon:

"The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor -- with no lawyers. They didn't have any lawyers," Bannon continued, according to the Guardian. "Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad s***, and I happen to think it's all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately."

"You realize where this is going ... This is all about money laundering. Mueller chose (senior prosecutor Andrew) Weissmann first and he is a money-laundering guy," Bannon reportedly said. "Their path to f***ing Trump goes right through Paul Manafort, Don Jr., and Jared Kushner ... It's as plain as a hair on your face."

Trump Response:

"Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind," Trump said.

Link - Hell it's everywhere !

Trump supporters - the plane is going on so hold on tight !

Yeah, Bannon just finished what he started with Moore. He just destroyed whatever credibility he had left. I got to say that I thought he was smarter than this.

My feeling as well -- although I've never liked the man.

If any wheels have come off they have come off Bannon's wagon.

Let's see over the past month he has: been largely responsible for loosing a safe Republican Senate seat in Alabama, alienated just about every, if not every Mormon in the United States and now has thoroughly alienated the President and his family.

But Trump surrounded himself with the 'best people', didn't he?
Flynn, Manafort?
Scaramouch, Scaramouch, didn't he do the fandango?
Now Bannon?

Trump says he's a 'smart person' and an excellent judge of character.
Isn't he?

First off Flynn and Manafort are decent men. The FBI had them charged with ridiculous crimes to save face because their investigation has turned up squat. Bannon clearly has lost his marbles. He's pissed off he was fired. This is nothing but sour grapes. As for Scaramucci it was a failed experiment. But again he is an accomplished successful guy. Being an excellent judge of character doesn't mean you are going to get it right 100% of the time.

In other news Manafort is suing DOJ and Mueller. This is getting interesting.

In other news, Clinton's house caught on fire. Maybe the "missing emails" spontaneously ignited.

Not in Clinton's house but the house attached to their property:

"A small fire broke out in a US Secret Service facility on the property of the home of Bill and Hillary Clinton in Chappaqua, New York, on Wednesday.
The building was not connected to the home of the former US President and former US Secretary of State, and the Clintons were not there at the time of the fire, Hillary Clinton Communications Director Nick Merrill tweeted.
The fire was put out and nobody was injured, said Sgt. Arthur Mendoza of the New Castle Police Department.
The former first couple bought the home before Hillary Clinton's successful 2000 run for a US Senate seat. Chappaqua is about 40 miles north of New York City."

So, the emails are secure, so you can sleep tight tonight, okay??

It appears to be a stall. Manaforte's attorneys are saying that Mueller was appointed to investigate Russia-gate and instead turned up Manaforte's influence peddling.

So if I am ever pulled over for a DUI investigation and instead the cop charges me with having an illegal firearm on the front seat, I'll sue Toronto police and say that they "acted beyond their authority" - lol!

Vox calls it a 'hail Mary pass'.

In the new Wolff book about Trump there's this from an email by Gary Cohn, the National Economic Council director.
It’s worse than you can imagine. An idiot surrounded by clowns. Trump won’t read anything - not one-page memos, not the brief policy papers; nothing. He gets up halfway through meetings with world leaders because he is bored. And his staff is no better. Kushner is an entitled baby who knows nothing. Bannon is an arrogant prick who thinks he’s smarter than he is. Trump is less a person than a collection of terrible traits. No one will survive the first year but his family. I hate the work, but feel I need to stay because I’m the only person there with a clue what he’s doing. The reason so few jobs have been filled is that they only accept people who pass ridiculous purity tests, even for midlevel policy-making jobs where the people will never see the light of day. I am in a constant state of shock and horror.

However, if in the same situation, cops find it UNDER your seat, you'll walk. Manafort has probably no case because Mueller's mandate is so broad, but it's s good play as the courts tend to be unpredictable in cases of government reach.

I bet Mueller would not agree. And last I looked he is running the investigation not you.
LOL!! Bannon joined the campaign two months AFTER the Don Jr's meeting. Try again.

Exactly. Bannon had no involvement with Russia, and thinks that meeting will topple Jr, Kushner and possibly DJT, that's why he's making his comments now to distance himself from them.

Normally this is something the public greatly sympathizes with (Manaforte). They do not like prosecutorial "fishing expeditions."

Sure, sure, sure.

Manafort, decades worth of illegality should just be swept under the rug.
