Are all these bars brothels in Pattaya?

I am just wondering, is it really worth it, unless you are there for <laughter> other reasons <more laughter> like seeing cultural sights <falls on floor> or visiting the elephants.. OK OK I'lmm stop

I mean hotels, eating out, airplane cost plus the cost of coitus, that could fund a bit of the old happy happy joy joy time here and with more variety. The girls from videos and pictures I've seen range from, not bad to meh.
Never mind being on a plane for a whole day to get there and then back, time zone bullshit etc. Then you toss in the heat, variable depending on season granted, the pollution, the scams etc.

I don't get it, but then I am not a big fan of travel, I don't fit on airplanes well. Honest question here.
Thailand yes, has lots of worthwhile things to do and see, Pattaya I don't think has that though

But is it even worth it? When you factor in hotel, airfare, time off work and potential of being robbed/scammed, the Toronto scene provides better value; that is lower cost per hour of sex.

Yeah, I have no interest in that sort of travel anywhere, again cost, airplane discomfort, lineups, walking everywhere, meh.
I had thought I made that clear in my first line.
Unless you mean by lots of things to do, different sorts of coitus.

So again, I wonder if it's worth it, vs staying home with the hobby. Sure if you go there for 3 months and get up in them guts 3 times a day it is much much less costly, but if you are only there for a week, probably cheaper just to stay home.

I hear Thailand can be a pain in the ass, if you don't lube up. Wink wink nudge nudge say no more.

Don't forget the visit to the doctor and pharmacist when you get back.
Please see my previous comment in this thread, if I was going, I'd take a supply of condoms, go on PREP and as an added precaution, get a vasectomy!

better add a HAZMET suit to your list.
I'd suggest that the idiots who seek a certain activity we aren't allowed to discuss just book a trip to Thailand but they'll just bring whatever they catch back here.

Why do some of you guys have such rage about anywhere outside of Canada?

I know Jalimon was joking around, but when you walk into a Ladyboy bar in Pattaya, the hostess greets you and clearly specifies that it is a Ladyboy bar. There is no money in “fooling” someone. If you encounter a Ladyboy, they actually tell you. A segment of the market want that, and they cater to those customers. Not for me, but to each his own.

At the beginning of AIDS, the STD and HIV positivity rates in Thailand were very high due to low condom use. A big effort was made and that completely reversed. Some of you guys are living in the late 1980s. In fact, a hassle of the place is now often the difficulty of getting BBBJ. It has been a long time since I was there, but I ended up finding one lady in Pattaya I really liked and kept going out to find her because she was GFE. In Bangkok, I primarily used one agency that specified which ladies did BBBJ and CIM.

If I was single, I'd definitely check out Pattaya, at least once.

1: What rage, we are just bustin balls at the worst which isn't all that bad.
2: That seems to place staying in Canada above going over there unless you don't care for the BBBJ. Both are better than brazil where from what I understand you can get BBBJ* but it involves rolling on the floor with a sweaty dude and lots of pain.
3: From what I've heard from recent reports, the whole condom thing isn't as universal as you suggest.

*Yes I know it's BBJ, thank you, but I prefer it my way.

I've always been worried over there and made a decision to not indulge in anything but the food. Same in other parts of the globe so if I don't have faith in their education or health system...no go. I realize Thailand has made great strides but not enough to push me over the line. Was with a civilian Thai lady in California a few decades ago and loved that darker Asian look. But alas...yet I know a few lads back in Oz who swear by the Thai trips. Good on them, no one (admitting?) Seemed to get any hazardous health outcomes.

Okay. Bustin Balls it is.

I do agree that the recent rise in BBFS in reports worldwide is concerning, but if you read the reports on ISG it is the supposedly “upper-end” Seeking Arrangements thread that has the most reports of this.

In the U.S., we are getting way too many Asian groups blatantly advertising it with ladies who are reviewed as barely speaking English.

But I simply think there is too much anti-Asian country bias on Terb. Frankly it is often from posters who don’t seem to have ever been to those places.

Personally, I liked Thailand and didn’t find it sketchy or dangerous or dirty. The ladies tok showers before and after, and were insistent that customers do the same.

While I am not a fan of the FKK system, there is never a post implying that white Romanian ladies working in those places have a high STD risk, even though they fuck many customers a day. But whenever southeast Asia is mentioned, those types of posts appear.

I mentioned that I experienced it once myself. I saw a favorite in Montreal from Eleganza on a trip that included Thailand. The Eleganza lady did CIM. She asked on the way out if I wasn’t concerned about getting an STD, particularly from oral, in Thailand. I really liked this girl, but she had no filter at all. How did she think her risk was so much less than that of a Thai girl doing the same activity?

When I ask if it is worth going vs just spending the hobby money, air plane, hotel et al in Toronto, it is because it is pretty much the only place I'd consider going. And not for the bear back, I mean, bears are godless killing machines even if they have their back to you, they could easily turn around and smack you with those massive paws and claws or bite your face off. Even worse in the US where they seem keen on arming bears.

I'd consider moving there, but now they changed the tax laws and they instead of being tax free as long as you don't bring money the year you earned it, they tax everything you bring in. Fine if you want to build up investments overseas but bad if you are not in a capital accumulation stage. Combination of the dividend tax credit, the TFSA and the capital gains thing I pay very little in taxes here. The extra tax bill would make Thailand much more expensive than it used to be. Plus the brutal heat, the dangerous roads, and the pollution which granted varies based on location or time of year but still. Then you get the language which scares me. OTOH it's much better than Philippines, which as far as I know, won't tax you on overseas income, but toss in third world living standards unless you spend crazy money hiding from them, natural disasters [again depending on location].

I visited Bangkok many years ago and loved it. The girls I met there insisted that I did use a condom and I even had a session at one of the soapy massages which is something really special in itself. Once you experience this you will be pissed at North American women, even SPs for the service levels here compared to what you can get there. I plan to visit again in November for a long awaited return but this time I'll do Pattaya as well. As for the questions about whether it's worth flying all the way there --- Thailand is a big tourist destination for many reasons. The temples are out of this world - you will never see anything like those in this side of the world. And I loved the local food as well. Just an awesome cultural trip to go on. Of course if flying all the way there, I would strongly suggest adding in some other nearby countries as well in Asia. I visited Singapore (and mongered there too) as well as Hong Kong during my last trip there. This time I might check out Cambodia and Vietnam too (there are many mongers going to these locations as well).

I liked my trip to Thailand, but I have heard at least a dozen times that tourists get treated like kings but that changes once you are a long-term resident. I guess if you are rich enough, you can pretend to be a permanent tourist. The issues you raise are legitimate. They are part of the vacation experience for a short trip, but a big hassle for a longer commitment. I like to travel and see things not available in North America and Thailand has plenty of that. A pain in the ass is how many more miles, including Aeroplan, is now required for Business or First Class travel than in year’s past. It is hell to go in economy unless you are a teenager or in your twenties.

Most places in the world are better to visit than to live. Portugal seems to get the best reviews from long-term retirees, honestly. Portugal has a pretty affordable commercial sex scene if you do 30 or 45 minute incall in Lisbon. Lisbon would be an okay place to live, but a lot of American and British retirees pick the Algarve, which doesn’t have as much of a commercial sex scene. The lady I liked so well in Lisbon said she does regular Algarve trips to see regulars. I couldn’t get the image out of my mind of all the old retirees arguing about why she scheduled one guy for Tuesday morning and one for Tuesday evening, instead of vice-versa.

for those saying they fear of being robbed and scammed, don't be. I can (and do) walk down the darkest streets late at night and have never felt scared of being robbed once. Scams, you might get over charged 4 or $5 here and there, but that's only if you're completely clueless. Not once have I been scammed in 3 long duration trips there. Pattaya is out of this world. I am already counting down the days when I go back in November. These beer bars on soi six are very upfront with costs and what you can expect. Pretty much all of them have rooms up stairs to take whichever girl you choose up to. Or pay the barfine ($12-$20) and take them back to yours for the night plus whatever price you agree with the girl. The soapy massages are amazing. Every girl I encountered did bbbj for no extra charge and I didn't even ask. FS was wrapped up though. I do not kiss any of them, since they could of just sucked another mans sausage an hour before you met them. It's also hard for me not to lick or suck on their nipples knowing another guys load could've just been all over them. The massage girls are great as well, if you're a decent enough looking guy they will have no problem doing FS with you. It is a real mind fuck though. thousands and thousands of women interested in you (your wallet) calling out to you at every single bar you walk by makes you feel pretty good about yourself, then you realize they're doing the same thing to the 65 year old guy behind you with a beer belly. Then come back home to Canada to absolutely nothing. being invisible here Sucks.

Then if you walk along the beach in pattaya there are hundreds of freelance girls (one every 10-15 feet for a couple km) they are a little more shady, but haven't personally had any problems with them myself. Just don't pick up a drunk one. Make sure your hotel gets a copy of their ID before you go up to room. You can find some pretty desperate ones if they haven't had a customer for a day or two, or if you go very late like 3-4 in the morning can get a great price. Also if you are bigger in size, bring magnum condoms from here. The ones in thailand are pretty small. I brought 24 and made it my goal to use them all up before I booked a flight home.

The prices can't be beat. I've been back home for 2 months now and refuse to pay canadian prices, I just think about my great times in thailand every single day.
I made friends with a couple of ladyboys while there. they are fun to talk to/get to know. Even spent a few nights at one of their condos (I slept on couch, was so tempting to do more but just couldn't bring myself to do it) Crazy to me how many guys are into them and most of them have no trouble finding customers every single night.

With the huge gender imbalance in China, I am surprised these places are not swamped with Chinese men.
Maybe a bit expensive for the average Chinese guy?
