I am 6'2 and old, but I am not rich.
That being said I figure I could hobby if I lived in Thailand 2 or maybe 3 times a week vs twice a month if I lived here without considering capital gains which maybe I could do 5 times a week vs 1 time a week ish. But once I sell the house and leave, I doubt with the housing and rental market I could ever come back. I know this house is solid, been in it for 20 years, all the problems fixed, but I'd be terrified of getting a new one that belongs on a Mike Homes special or finding a place to rent and watching rent go up and up as they bring in more and more people and prevent more building and force landlords to take it up the ass. OTOH they say after a few years, the heat really gets to you, the noise, the pollution. Etc. At least here, I got a nice R-2000 standard home, a nice car, I know the language etc. OTOH 3 times a week vs twice a month is something also.
If I do this, I'd have to go over on the hottest most humid month to test it out, and get myself in shape first because as of now... no way. And start learning Thai. Holy Krap.
