I'd second this for sure!

Just listen to any song by The Police and Rush and figure those songs without these drummers. The songs would not be the same that is for sure,

Buddy Rich
Tito Peunte
Neil Pert

These guys were all unbelievable. Buddy Rich did not need an Ochestra to entertain and Neil Pert wrote most of the Rush's songs so I'm sure he interwove the drums deepre into the music.

Great site twisted. I loved the clips...it was fun picking a drummer and seeing who they've played with. I'm sure many would be surprised to see the bands these guys played with and who was actually behind the kit on some well known recordings.

I looked out some records over the weekend and came up with a couple more:

Billy Cobham
Carmen Appice (the original banger)
As well as Anton Fig (I just can't get enough of any drummer who plays in Paul Shaffer's bands or the CBS Orchestra).

I was surprised to see Lars Ulrich (Metalica) hanging out at the US Open Tennis in the players boxes. I cant remember which match it was though (Agassi or Rodick).

Just for discussion/argument sake, does anyone like Tyler Stewart of BNL fame?

Lars' dad was a Tennis pro in Denmark and Lars was ranked in the top 10 juniors as a kid in Denmark.
