The Hammer
I also forgot to mention to Gladiator....but on one note, I'd like to say I thought that Fight Club was garbage, I didnt like that movie at all...and perhaps the worst movie in recent memory, and I am sure people will disagree, but Signs was rough....I could not sit through that thing, oh the pain!

debate amongst yourselves...which should to a list of crappiest movies of all time!

of course everything is open to interpretation

True Romance/Dennis Hopper

That scene WAS classic w/Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken, two favorites. I don't remember Brad Pitt, but Christian Slater (Elvis) was there.

Isn't it scarry that some of the favourites are animated...I could sit and watch Shrek, Monster's Inc. and Toy Story all day long and still laugh my ass off.

The voices and the facials (expressions, that is) are outstanding...after a couple of beers you almost believe that the characters are real!

Oh no, the laughs, the voices and facials were outstanding with you as well Dani. But who doesn't find a big green oagre and Eddie Murphy as the Donkey entertaining. I don't think there will be an MSOG thread about them though (even if they do try to wear a Bud bathing suit.

A Bud with Shrek or a Bud with Dani......Dani with a Bud and without the bathing suit wins everytime.

Doc (leaving more than a couple fo empty cans behind :D)

PS. I'm easily plied!

and the winner is.....

6. Kind Hearts and Coronets (Alec Guinness)

If anyone really wants to see why actor-knights become actor-knights, then do yourself a favoUr and get this somehow; and as an alternate perhaps, Richard III starring Sir what's his name.

Don't mean to be heavy, I'm having a Pinot Grigio moment...

Lord of the Rings
The Green Mile
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
The Great Escape

Others that aren't "Great" movies, but I like a lot for different reasons:

Rustler's Rhapsody (best Western parody ever!)
Airplane (cracks me up every time!)
The Music Man (I like musicals...sue me!)
Carrie (only an okay movie, but that hand coming up scares me every time!)
Flight of the Phoenix (dunno why, I just like it)

hmm...

Lord of the rings was fun to watch.

But yall gotta see 'The Man Who Knew Too Little' (Bill Murray), I think I missed half the movie because I was laughing too hard at the other half.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned any Cary Grant movie. He has made so many classics--The Front Page, Only Angels Have Wings, North by Northwest, Bringing Up Baby. His charm and sophistication hasnt been dupicated--although lately, Bill Murray has exhibited some of the same comic style.

I believe the technical cinematic/theatrical term for Bill Murray is 'fucking hilarious'.
