Best Veal Sandwich Place....Where do you go?

I used to go to one in Etobicoke, with some guys from Kodak when I was consulting to them - supposed to have mafia connections as well, from memory...for the life of me i can't remember the name and I am not going to look up my business receipts from that time.

Commisso brothers bakery......in an industrial area Caledonia and Castlefield.. open 24hrs.
Yes....good food

Francesca Bakery on Invergordon and McCowan (between Sheppard and the 401 in Scarborough) was pretty good. It had an Italian style bakery on one side and Italian deli type of restaurant on the other side. I haven't been there in a long time so not sure if anything has changed but last time I was there the veal sandwich was pretty good (some Italian friends I had at the time loved it so must have been pretty good)

Has to be the original location. I don't know what is is but the run down ambiance and the Nonas visible in the kitchen somehow make them better than the other locations. Love the spiced olives too.

Original location on Claremont is definitely best. About 10 years ago in addition to the nonna's in the back there was an absolutely gorgeous young thing on the cash. The location on Dixie north of 401 does a really good job as well for those in the Cafe Atlantis neighbourhood. Least favourite is on Queensway east of 427, just not up to par.

Omg........i forgot about rocco's plum tomatoe. Awesome veal sandwich.

Quite possible..
one veal sandwich, lasanga with mushroom and hot peppers and a coke. Rice ball and stuff green pepper too when i'm really hungry

Me to, but if you are up north of the city, Santino's in the strip plaza on the North side of Hwy #7 between Bowes Rd & Keele. The best pizza by a long shot up here. They also have a full selection of home made Italian food and the veal sandwich is awesome. Like most, family run, only open daytime hours.
