Block internet access for a single program????

I want to block a specific program from internet access, primarily to restrict it from checking serial number being used.
Is there an EASY way to do this or a free program that makes it easy to do.
I have some Geek-ability but this is beyond me.

I know they used to be free, haven't used it in quite some time though.
You have to 'train' it though by allowing or blocking access to basically everything on your computer that accesses the internet.
It DOES work though.
Might find a 'free' copy on bit torrent or something like that too.
