Was thinking of bringing Gold Wing into it but then you might have thought I was changing the thread into Chinese Restrauants.

Wonder if the reason Sheik was being picked on by the police was because they were homophobic?

Weapons charges withdrawn

All 11 weapons charges against the Hells Angels were dropped today. Unlike media reports, no weapons were found in the clubhouse, and the weapons described as an arms cashe were in reality rifles and shotguns found at a farm, where a Hells Angel resided. They were locked in a cabinet, with trigger locks. A simple check of the gun registry that handles 5000 police inquiries a day would have revealed they were all registered legally before he was arrested and the press conference took place.

Unfortunately, the registry was propbably unable to handle 5001 inquiries until the police were able to complete the media's erroneous reports.

"Were waiting for pounds and pounds and pounds of drugs, weapons and paraphinalia," OPP Constable Pam Higman told CTV news.

Well, i've been attending the bail hearings, and we are still waiting for them to arrive. The pictures of drugs and guns at the news conference from who knows where, were riviting though...

The media circus will continue, and Fugi, you should audition. Your performance here has been stellar.

The announcement of the charges being withdrawn will probably appear between pork belly futures and pet obits in your newspaper soon, but remember you heard it here first.

It doesn't surprise me that nothign was found in the clubhouse given that the HA's apparently have infiltrated the police and received advanced warning of the raid.

How many charges were NOT dropped? Post the docket# for the case so we can follow this without having to believe the propaganda bullshit on realdealnews.

I think the bigger question, and legitimate, is who would I rather have managing the drug trade in Canada. the Vietnamese mafia, the East Indian mafia, The Posse, or a Canadian born Biker Gang with club houses. I'll go for the later, every time. Call me a bigot, but the trade ain't going away, and somebody has to manage it. I am pragmatic.

Next question, who would I rather have policing the population of Canada? The answer is definitely the R.C.M.P. I am a lot pissed off that we have American field agents in plain clothes running around our country, yanking people out of their cars, and tossing them upside down in front of their kids, because they fit the description of somebody they are looking for and 'might' be connected to a terrorist network (so tossing them is "ok"), roughing them up, not showing any ID, then driving off into the blue yonder, disappearing with no trace, with no explanation, and no recourse available. This is a bigger threat to our personal security AND sovereignty in my simple mind, because it opens the door to who knows what.

Now for my 9AM alcohol induced rant (mainly at Mr. Fuji).

I cant believe the fricking hypocrisy on this farking website FFS !!!!!

Have any of you ever been to an incall?????
Have any of you ever visited a massage parlour????
Have any of you ever consumed any illicut drugs??????

Chances are good that of any of those have some type of connection to organized crime.

But of course you're all a bunch of sweet little choirboys, just on Terb to read the articles and never visit incalls or do drugs, right??!!!!

Give me a farking break already

Extortion

Fuji, if u had read the transcript , youd see the guy selling the defective scramblers ripped off 10 other people for over 150,000 dollars.
One, a hells angel, tracked him down after he closed his electronics shop, moved and changed his number to shake the people he ripped off.
He split some of the monrey with his x barrie cop brother in law and when the Angel came callin the brother inlaw called the OPP rather than pony up the admitted 8,000 he pocketed from the sale of the admittedly defective equipment.
The opp said tell them they camn have there money back, but drive to orrillia to meet up.
When they get there tell them to 'suck shit'. When the biker gets mad, we will hope to record a threat.
It worked.

The biker- one- the other was in thetruck hung over from a party- threatened him.
-Guilty. Extortion. Yup. one a scale of 1 - 10, 10 bein i heard you were makin money, gimmie somne or ill kill you.
1- gimmie back my own money like you promised or beat your face in.

Secondly. The crime conceded that the threat was not made at the direction of or for the benifit of, the Hells Angels.

Thirdly, the law was written and passed saying 5 guys were required to be involved to constitute criminal org. Too hard to get? they changed it to 3.
Only 2 guys here? so what, there bikers, let them appeal and spend money.

Nobodies lilly white here, but if that case is your smoking gun, i can see where your coming from. That place has nothing to do with justice. Did your wife come home with biker on her lips? Sounds like vengence spewing to me.

There are lots of incalls in Toronto that have NOTHING WHATEVER to do with organized crime groups. You think all the SP's posting on here are all run by the mob? Nope.

I am sure that there are OC groups with their fingers in the industry but THEY ARE A PROBLEM. They are the reason why people get shot at massage parlours. The sooner these guys are shown the door (preferably one with a lock on it) the better.

The issue is not whether the consumer-end crimes are a problem, the issue is the topic of this thread: Organized crime groups are insidious cancers that undermine society, corrupt the police, corrupt our institutions, and as a result, eventually threaten our democracy.

The Hell's Angels, and other organized crime groups like them, are, in the long run, one of the biggest threats to our freedom that there are because they represent an all out assault on our institutions of justice. Go back and read the first post on this thread if you don't know what I'm talking about.

p.s. -- sheik/imanha, try and sweeten it all you want, but an ontario court judge ruled that the HA's were a criminal organized and CONVICTED THESE GUYS OF EXTORTION. the judge plainly didn't buy the version of events you are peddling and neither do i. hint: the trial is over, and THEY LOST.

Bottom line is, the law is being abused by the cops and by the politicians. It's being selectively enforced and by the law's definition both the cops and the govt are a criminal organization yet its not enforced.
I hope you show the same gusto when the next racial profile by police thread comes up. Or are the police only corrupt when they're bothering your boys?

The truth behind those raids are still trickling out but the bottom line is, I'm concerned about the police and government overstepping the law and what its going to do to all of us down the road.
And you're not concerned about organized crime groups infiltrating the police and undermining our justice system??????????

I read the 11th post in this thread. I guess we will have to wait till the court case is decided to find out.

In the meantime, maybe you can answer this question:

Do you think it is right for the government to seize property or assets of an indvidual before being convicted of a crime?

( )Yes
( )No

Please tick one.

Question not relevant to thread. HA is not an individual.
