Act like a jerk and you'll be treated like a jerk. You're a jerk, deal with it. If you think it was unintentional just say so and keep the toilet comment to yourself. Jerk!
It looks so far that I'm not the only one that thinks you're nutts on this point of 'intentional interference' RS. DEAL WITH IT.

Take your own advise

Riiiight, the look on the kids face, after he did it, was totally glazed over. It was not intentional. Another classic from RS.
And you are so fucking naive. Were you born yesterday? Jerk!
Riiight, let's see if anyone else agrees with your toilet bowl comment on it being intentional. Can't wait for you disin' Reyes for his injury at second base. I mean what the difference between Batista running to first and Reyes running to second.

Reyes is done for the year.
You heard it here first.
Don't expect a straight answer from this years Jays organization about the injury. They'll probably put him on the 60 day DL and talk about him returning after the All Star break which will never happen. He'll be 60 day DL'd right after that again. Jays management will be gun shy about revealing too much so as too not lose ticket sales and bandwagon jumpers in the fickle Toronto market.

As for the ballboy? Intentional? No. Only a retard would think that was a overt action by a teenager.
I want that kid on my team. He saw a fly ball and went for it. Good instincts I say. He tried to make the play.

You may or may not be right about out for the year...but you hit my peeve on the head. They always mislead us about returning...did it last year with bautista, this year with Lawrie....day to day turns into a month.....actually did it with bautista again last weekend....as if a few more tickets might have got sold or not sold on misleading info that he would probably play against Boston

You can have the ballboy.
I will take the one who actually catches the ball. :thumb:

Whether or not the Jays will be forthright I do not know, but I do not think he, Reyes, is done for the season.
And I already heard a radio guy say "I think Reyes is done for the season, or most of it." He based his opinion on the information that Anthopoulos has already looked at trade options for a SS.

Nah Slinger, it looked like a knee-jerk reaction by the kid.
One can also use that explanation (or excuse) when a fan reaches for a ball and interferes with a fielder trying to make a play. How often have we seen fans lean over the restraining wall to touch a ball in the field of play? We have a fan interference rule, why don't we have a ballperson interference rule as well.[/QUOTE]Afterwards he looked embarrassed.
Or, he could have been laughing at the rest of us. Kids can be pretty mischievous you know. Anyway, I think we all agree that the ballboy did interfere with Davis trying to catch the ball (whether it was premeditated or not).

I thought the ballboy interference was rather comical and certainly not intentional. I just heard Gibbons say that Reyes heard something pop while awkwardly sliding into 2nd base. That can't be good ... *sad face*. Hopefully the team can rally around such adversity! I say put Bautista at 3rd until Lawrie gets back. Although losing Reyes for an extended period is a HUGE loss, I bet the Jays can keep their head above water awaiting his return. Go Jays Go!

Only a jerk and a retard would think that the kid unintentionally got up off his chair, unintentionally ran to the spot where the ball was coming down, unintentionally put up his glove and unintentionally tried to catch the ball.

lol ... you are such a clown Rock.

The ballboy inteded to catch the ball, yes, because that is his job.
He forgot or did not think Davis had a chance to get to the ball.

Come on Rock. Quit 'stirring it up' just for the sake of 'stirring it up'. I suspect you know there was no intent.

So far, this season has been an unmitigated disaster. Lawrie gets hurt in Spring training. Bautista gets hurt running to 1B and hasn't been himself since returning. Now, Reyes hurts himself running to 2B base. Then the ballboy (premeditated or not) prevents Davis from catching a foul ball. The baseball Gods must hate us.

On top of all this, the firm of Dickey, Buehrle and Johnson are pitching like crap. Even Brandon Morrow (not to be confused with Brendan Morrow) has a 5.59 ERA and a 0-1 record.

So now it's time to change the subject since it's clear that 'everyone' so far in the thread thinks you off you nutt with your 'intentional interference' remark, then you tried to defend your remark. Good to see, but you still won't admit you're wrong; you clearly don't do that.

Spoken like a true jerk. Let it go already. Agree or disagree, not "everyone" uses gutter and toilet language like you do. Jerk! This is probably news to you but many people are capable of disagreeing without being a jerk about it. Try it sometimes.

The toilet remark was to show you going around and around and around in circles, grasping at straws to try and save face, but would eventually go down the drain as you just did, little more. It's you who needs the help as you can dish it out, but can't handle it.

Ok, let's try one more time since you are so slow on the uptake. Stick with the facts and lose the gutter /toilet language.

Fact 1: The ballboy did intentionally get up off his chair and ran to try and catch the ball. Do you disagree with this fact?

Fact 2: The ballboy did interfere with Davis catching the ball. Do you disagree with this fact?

Just get a life already, dumbrock. You have 21.53 a day and never once written a review. You add nothing to these forums, all you do is endless trolling.

Try doing something positive with your "life"

Since I don't hobby, why would I write a review. I'll leave phony SO's and MPAs reviews to those who think they must do it to feel important. Before you jump on that point, I'm not saying all the reviews are phony, but why review when you don't participate. As has been mention often before by more than one member, the Lounge is an open forum, where threads about the other things in life can be posted, but you seem to forget that. Not a hard concept for most members.
