He'll find a spot in baseball, he's a catcher that has power. Not a lot of those around. He'll most likely be near MLB minumum ($500,000).
Do you have a source for that? A.J. Pierzynski signed with Boston, didn't hear about them signing J.P.

Detroit seems to have not got the maximum return in the Fister trade.
You know, when they acquired Doug Fister, they gave up Charlie Furbush, it would have been difficult to beat that (as it were).
Or unless the experts in talent evaluation, i.e. the general managers and scouts, know the value of the players involved better than we do, as shocking as that may seem.

Jays also traded Brad Lincoln to the Phillies for another catcher, Kratz plus a pitching prospect, Rasmussen.

I can't see the Rays trading Price to the same division. I don't mind having him, but will prob cost us 2 A prospects at least.
Unfortunate, but hardly a surprise. He was never in the Jays' long term plans. I really like Rajai and felt he transformed the pace and dynamic of the game each time he got on base. If he played a whole season, I feel he could put up Rickey type SB numbers.
