Was the body under water? That's the gator's MO...If he was ambushed by a gator, it's safe to assume he felt it. They are not exactly shy lately.

it was in an area previously under water bones will/should show if it was a gator stashWas the body under water? That's the gator's MO...
I thought the way he killed would have done that. Nobody gives a shit about the way he died... except a few Terbites trying to solve the case here. The way he died will ensure his infamy for all time.
If it's a large pack of protein, a gator doesn't kill right away. It will rip off a chunk of flesh and wait for the prey to die. In Laundrie's case, it probably was a butt cheek and he bleed out. He was probably wishing LE to show up in his terminal pain. Was the body under water? That's the gator's MO...
Don't they usually store their kills under water? If it's a large pack of protein, a gator doesn't kill right away. It will rip off a chunk of flesh and wait for the prey to die. We don't know cause of death yet but if it was suicide he could've blown his head off which would explain his face being gone. His body could;ve still been somewhat intact. They found skeletal remains, his face was gone.
Or, maybe he took a homeless man there and killed him. Without the head it would be harder to identify the body, no dental records etc.We don't know cause of death yet but if it was suicide he could've blown his head off which would explain his face being gone. My understanding was they used dental records to identify him so at least part of skull/jaw was left. If he shot himself, a gun would have been found with at least a round missing. He was an experienced hiker in the area - I would think an alligator attack would be unlikely. If he got bit by a water moccasin or other poisonous snake - it's unlikely he would seek help. Whatever happened - his body got the same scavenger treatment as Gabby.Or, maybe he took a homeless man there and killed him. DNA would still work, though.
Just out of sheer, cussed grossness, why wouldn't a gator attack him? He's too big for a gator to eat?My understanding was they used dental records to identify him so at least part of skull/jaw was left. D.A. "So you are looking for laundrie money?"Are you the County D.A. ?..... You are...... I understand there was a reward for Brian Laundrie, dead or alive?....... I'm here to claim the reward."

It was just an opinion based on an assumption that an experienced hiker in Florida would know the dangers of gators. To your point, if I was being stalked and didn't want to be found, part of my trek would be in shallow waters to try to throw off the scent of tracking dogs. I would think that water in the lungs (if that part off the body is intact) might tip off if he was the main course or a convenient already dead appetizer (if gator marks are found).Just out of sheer, cussed grossness, why wouldn't a gator attack him? He's too big for a gator to eat?
Let’s hope soLocals say it was most likely ruthless wild pigs that will eat anything. He was found in an area that was previously flooded. His death was probably worse than potitos.
Why is this such a big story???
This shit happens all the time in the U.S
What am I missing?
