Saying someone will be replaced is not the same as saying they aren't talented. They still also might be exceptional and someone else exceptional will follow him. Another tell is how the organization Turning Point survives without its founder. If it's built to survive his death, that is a Kirk accomplishment.

As far as the college dropout criticism, I'm not sure why that's relevant. He found his calling at an early age and accomplished what he wanted to without completing college.

The progressive zealots think that all of us who are saddened by his death and the vitriol here were completely down with everything Kirk supported. That is far from the truth. I would feel the same way if someone harmed AOC a young star on the left. She's a good progressive comp for Kirk. She started young and didn't have a lot of accomplishments outside political activism. Sadly, AOC has had to beef up her security.

He called MLK an awful person and said passing the Civil Rights Act was a huge mistake. I'm sure if he had the power or such he'd wanna take that right away. He reminds me of the racist dad in the movie American History X. He even said things like if a black pilot is flying the plane he wants to see the guy's credentials. What does race have to do with that? There's plenty of white, black, etc. bad pilots too or people who made errors at work. Why call out a certain race to question their credentials.

Lets be frank it's only been 65 years since the first black child was allowed in an all white school in America. 65 years...how very sad.

His debating style was not to bring receipts or logical counterpoints but to double down on talking points.
You'd know this if you took the time to watch his Cambridge debate or even his Jubilee debate.
The best he did was to get a few one liners in.
Essentially, high on confidence, low on substance and high on rhetoric pretty much sums up Charlie's "debating and oratory" skills.
