A number of Democrats joined with Republicans for a resolution that honored the life of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, following his assassination at a political event at Utah Valley University last week. But very few of them came from the Congressional Black Caucus.

According to Politico, the Black Caucus put out a statement that "denounced political violence and the killing of Kirk, but said individuals must condemn violence 'without abandoning our right to speak out against ideas that are inconsistent with our values as Americans.'"

The caucus further stated that Kirk held “racist, harmful, and fundamentally un-American” beliefs that would be inappropriately be dignified by supporting the resolution.

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA and a key contributor to President Donald Trump's voter canvassing operation last year, has a long history of inflammatory and controversial statements on race.

Among many other things, he said passing the 1964 Civil Rights Act that guaranteed Black people a right to integrated public accommodation was a "mistake," repeatedly attacked Dr. Martin Luther King, has said that "prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people" in cities, said he believes airlines are endangering passengers with unqualified Black pilots hired to meet quotas, and paid tribute to a pastor who claimed slavery was a godly institution.

The killing of Kirk triggered a political firestorm around the country, and though both Democrats and Republicans alike were quick to condemn the crime, far-right voices all around the media began blaming the left before the manhunt for the killer had even concluded.

Here he shows Ihan Omar and Medhi Hasan for the contemptuous individuals that they really are.
This one he carefully dissects the lies that AOC has crafted about the late Charlie Kirk.
It's truly disgusting how the left has tried to smear Charlie.
No, they didn't say anything contemptuous.
I challenge you to find anything contemptuous they said.
They said that what happened to Charlie was terrible, but what he said when he was alive was bigoted, which is just the truth.
Charlie was no hero.
Just an insignificant vile grifter whose death is being exploited by the administration to further their fascist agenda.

Jeffries really epitomizes the split in the dems right now. That side that is still pushing the Pelosi, guardian of the slightly more liberal billionaires, AIPAC funded establisment.
They'll lose again if they keep that up.

Another one by Sean Fitzgerald the Actual Justice Warrior.

This one he carefully dissects the lies that AOC has crafted about the late Charlie Kirk.

It's truly disgusting how the left has tried to smear Charlie.
I'm sure its not too hard these days to find other youtube warriors ready to declare that Kirk's brand of white nationalism is ACTUAL JUSTICE WARRIOR material.
Just I'm sure what he says will make total sense to you as well.
Just as you seem dumbfounded when other people find some of what you say offensive.

"Mens" in women's bathrooms has nothing to do with MLK. It's a separate argument under the US equality clause.

And what you just wrote contradicts your hero, Charlie Jerk who attacked MLK and the Black civil rights movement every chance he could.
Again, men's in women's bathrooms or sports is just a consequence of what is being argued. That the Civil Rights Act was noble in intention giving everyone equal rights, equal civil liberities. But the way the laws are written are too broad and are now being circumvented and not having the desired effects.

As for MLK, I believe Kirk used to revere MLK as a civil rights hero and but changed his tone because of damning evidence that has come to light about King's behaviour in his private life, i.e. his treatment of women.

That's exactly the sort of fake argument that Charlie Jerk set up.

I think that minorities can achieve those positions through their own abilities. I don't think some US companies would hire them because of corporate racism. That's why the quotas exist. Not because of Charlie's bullshit reasoning that it's "racist" to impose DEI and quotas.

This has always been the argument. The only way you - and Charlie Jerk - can try and "win" the argument, is by totally mis-stating the premise of DEI. Charlie Jerk does that all the fucking time in every lying piece of shit video he ever produced
I don't see it that way and we can disagree. Quotas negatively affect quantitative metrics because standards are lowered. For example, a solider regardless of race, gender should meet a certain physical and intellectual standard in order to serve. These standards cannot be compromised. In business, merit and competency should be the only metric. Production and efficiency should not be compromised due to quotas. Why are we reducing humans and segregating them just on the basis of race or sexual orientation. Sounds awfully bigoted to. Id prefer to be judged on my achievements and my character rather than people seeing and judging me by my skin colour. Simple right?

Please give me just one of those quotes. You're being evasive because you can't.
There has been so many provided. They are incredibly easy to look up. Instead I challenge you to provide me something other than a 15 sec spliced clip with Charlie's racist views where he gets a chance to explain it in context. Like I said, there is a difference in methodologies on how we come to our conclusions. Id prefer not to rely on a 15 sec clip or some article that conveniently takes quotes out of context to base my opinion and like to get a fuller picture of all the evidence before coming to a conclusion.

They don't have any.
They can only nitpick his words to say "Oh he didn't say those SPECIFIC words".
But anyone with an ounce of common sense know how communication works and what implied meanings are.
Example:
Me: "Charlie said that black women lack brain processing power, which is racist".
Them: "He didn't say "black women"".
Me: "Ok, he said Joy Reid, Sheila Jackson Lee, Michelle Obama, Ketanji Brown Jackson lack brain processing power, and that is racist. Do you agree?"
Them: *crickets*.
lmao.
I actually provided the clip where Joy Reid stated she is a DEI hire in direct response to you. Biden said Ketanji was a DEI hire.

So the crickets comment is inaccurate.
