Give it a rest.

Druggsie would be doing Druggsie in regards to the City of Toronto, that being doing shit fuck all, if he hadn't repeatedly self-inflicted a savage beating upon himself with his myriad of scandals upon scandals.

Politically, he had no choice but to take the '1.2billion and the Gardiner and the DVP' right up his ass.
So no more whining about the Gardiner and Ontario place then? Its settled and you will actually be quiet? Because he has "no choice"?

You didn't read the article you posted, did you?
I always do...and several others dating back to the last mayoral election when she was fooling people like you.

Those 50 to 100 cops can be sent to the subways and streets to battle crime as they should.
Didn't you want to defund them recently?

The province always had legal control of Ontario Place and can legally do whatever they want to do with it. And no amount of legal intervention by the City of Toronto can undo the provinces legal control.

In fact, the province can do legally do whatever it wants with parts of or the whole of City of Toronto. They can abolish city council, install a 'puppet' administration of their choosing and drive bull dozers throughout the city.

You really have no idea what you are whining about, now do you?
So you mean she was running a campaign of lies and trying to convince her flock that she could actually fight the province?

Pick one

Looks like she got a good. Lets see what Mayor Chow does now. Much better than the $5million offered by the federal gov.

I figured you would show up for this one.

The province is uploading what should be. So quite simply you are going to have to admit(at least to yourself) that Ford is doing the right thing. I think Chow is as well. Both are being responsible, not allowing ideology get in the way of what's right. Chow clearly saw the need after the pandemic sprnding and Feds fucking up immigration the need to work with someone responsible enough to actually achieve things.
Or do both know, in no uncertain terms, their political careers depend on keeping the 416/905 happy?

We could start with gas plants and finish with Ford caving to whines about tolls on the 412/418 despite the province needing every penny it can scrape together. See also Moodys downgrading the credit rating because……..?

I didn't turn red. I'm just pointing out how Ford took advantage of Chow, because Chow was desperate for the money, that Toronto needs!!
I predict that in a year or two, we'll find out how Council squandered the money they were given.

Great, maybe the feds can now intervene.
You mean intervene like swooping in leading up to the 2025 election to bribe voters with their own money again?

Here's something I just thought of...why doesn't the GTA start hammering their Liberal MP's about the carbon tax making things unaffordable so that Trudeau declares it a "climate change free zone" like in the Atlantic ridings and drops the tax here as well?

Yeah sure. That's why Liberals in Liberal ridings are lynching their Liberal MPs about how unaffordable the carbon tax has made things for them.
You're being played.

But its the cons that keep raising the price of power.

I can answer that in part or whole. And it’s something too many Liberal voters here ( and in the electorate) don’t want to face and admit.

They don’t because for lack of better words they only see what they want to see, rarely travel outside the GTA, unless it’s somewhere sunny and warm, or their million dollar cottage…or care only about themselves, so long as it’s not them feeling the pain. For a good example when has Frank or many of them ever said, just once.

“We need to do more for someone else”. Create jobs or build infrastructure or expand public transit outside the GTA….

And in turn the politicians in Queens Park, or Ottawa don’t care. Because it’s the seats in the GTA that matter. Win the GTA>>> win the election. Hence all the vote buying, or doing little for the less fortunate outside the GTA, while throwing all kinds of money at the GTA which we all know is a Liberal Stronghold. Those same voters then don’t understand why the vast majority of immigrants, our youth from small town Ontario or Atlantic Canada flood the GTA and more do the same. Then rhey whine about house prices, the cost of sanctuaries, grid lock, the homeless flooding the GTA too.

No doubt some live in denial, or stick their heads in the sand. But I could link and reference all kinds of things, all kinds. From hydro rates and gas plants to Carbon Taxes, killing fossil and jobs in Alberta, ramming wind farms down rural Ontarios throats too….To corporate welfare for GM in Oshawa /Ford in Oakville and more I could name, while others go tits up or whither on the vine, to road tolls up to and including some rather famous public service unions. Who while “everywhere” are seriously heavily weighted in the GTA…

They also “deny” why so many talk of separation or call them cityiots or the centre of the universe and the source/cause of division. Etc and so on. And the usual response from them is

“it’s them not us”
