The lack of understanding and sheer ignorance is astonishing is all I will say.
The preceding message was brought to you by someone who does his 'research' by reading Facebook memes.Because of your unwillingness to accept people's decisions concerning their own health, you have already shown a lack of conscience.
And because you haven't done the proper due diligence and reviewed the real science, I have to discern that you also lack the scruples as well.
Nevertheless, carry on riding your moral high horse.
It's funny, but Family Guy probably did the best job of explaining how vaccines work and why people need to get vaccinated. The lack of understanding and sheer ignorance is astonishing is all I will say.
Do you need a PhD to figure out that 3 microns virus will pass unobstructed through a greater than 3 microns opening?Would you be able to understand it? Do you have a PhD? I work in healthcare research as a facilitator (in computing database mainly) but I don't know shit about the data I manipulate.
The problem is that the vast majority of us do not know science. We have not studied it. I know computers but nada about the effect of a virus in a human body. What do I do? I shut the fuck up and listen to my doctor and public health. Yes I could go back and pursue an immunology degree or something like that but I'm too old.
I have the humility to confirm I know shit about science. Have you?
For example I also know shit about wine. When I want to impress friend over a good dinner I go to lcbo and ask the expert. Sometimes he's right on. Sometimes a bit less but still beats the craps over what I would have bought.
Next thing you know they start questioning the science behind ass wiping. Surely the Bible didn't mention that one ever needed to wipe their ass. Liberal invention I say. These democrat pussies cannot stand the smell of good Patriotic shit. The lack of understanding and sheer ignorance is astonishing is all I will say.
The planet has at least 3 Billion people too many for its own good [ and ours}. As in all species case sometimes a culling of the heard is a neccessary evil. An excellent place to start is with the STUPID anti-vaxers and science deniers and conspiracy theory lovers. Let them try their luck against the Covid and the weakest of them will not survive. In that case with a tear I say good riddance to you. Every time I hear that an unvaccinated person dies of the Covid I think that they were to stupid to live- sort of like diving into Niagara Falls. All the unvaccinateds will be dead in the fullness of time. Survival of the intelligent.
DOH: 93.49% of COVID-19 deaths are among unvaccinated | GMA News Online (gmanetwork.com)
No.Do you need a PhD to figure out that 3 microns virus will pass unobstructed through a greater than 3 microns opening?
Excellent explanation. It's funny, but Family Guy probably did the best job of explaining how vaccines work and why people need to get vaccinated.
Another topic that's been discussed 100's of times and it's been shown that masks greatly reduce the amount of spread of the particles.Do you need a PhD to figure out that 3 microns virus will pass unobstructed through a greater than 3 microns opening?
I don't know much about "science ", but I have been measuring stuff all my life(and I'm pretty good at it). It would explain why the Omicron spreads around the world like a wild fire despite of the ALL travelers being masked, as are all in the public places in Canada. Too bad you people can't connect two dots.Another topic that's been discussed 100's of times and it's been shown that masks greatly reduce the amount of spread of the particles.
I told you guys that he'd deny science.
Too bad we can't connect the two dots? Really? You think all travelers are in isolation and are masked 100% of the time prior to, during and after they arrive at their destination? It's spreading because it's 4X to 8X more transmissible and not everyone is masked all the time. Obviously wearing masks won't prevent all amounts of transmission, but they certainly help.I don't know much about "science ", but I have been measuring stuff all my life(and I'm pretty good at it). Thanks for prefacing the second part of your statement with "I don't know much about science". It explains the rest of your post.I don't know much about "science ", but I have been measuring stuff all my life(and I'm pretty good at it). It would explain why the Omicron spreads around the world like a wild fire despite of the ALL travelers being masked, as are all in the public places in Canada. It is unbelievable that people are still questioning whether masks help reduce the spread of covid, in the face of all the studies and documented experience out there.Do you need a PhD to figure out that 3 microns virus will pass unobstructed through a greater than 3 microns opening?
Like I said earlier, you will just ignore science to fit your agenda.I don't know much about "science ", but I have been measuring stuff all my life(and I'm pretty good at it). It would explain why the Omicron spreads around the world like a wild fire despite of the ALL travelers being masked, as are all in the public places in Canada. The problem is that they can infect innocent civilians and consume scarce medical resources before they pass on. How many surgeries have been deferred because these anti-vaxxers are tying medical personnel up and beds?Anyone who is an anti-vaxxer or vaccine hesitant should check out the Sorry Anti-Vaxxer website.
In short, it's a list of stories about rabid anti-vaxxers on social media, mostly Americans, who have either died from the virus or have ended up in an ICU because of it.
Speaking of which, Premier Jason Kenney announced today that unvaccinated Albertans are free to have indoor visits with families, attend Christmas parties, etc. over the holiday season. I mean, seriously, how bloody stupid is this guy? Is his memory that short that he doesn't remember that Alberta's healthcare system was on the brink of collapse just three months ago?The problem is that they can infect innocent civilians and consume scarce medical resources before they pass on. That's now an outdated information. The virus is now considered airborne, meaning, unlike droplets, it can float in the air and it does not require liquid as a vehicle. It is 3 microns meaning that the common surgical mask cannot stop it as the gaps are larger than the virus. Simply, you're putting your faith in a colander. It is unbelievable that people are still questioning whether masks help reduce the spread of covid, in the face of all the studies and documented experience out there.

Effectiveness of Mask Wearing to Control Community Spread of SARS-CoV-2
This JAMA Insights CDC review summarizes accumulating evidence that mask wearing reduces spread of SARS-CoV-2 infection and that universal mandatory mask wearing policies reduce infections and deaths and emphasizes face masks are one component of pandemic control measures, including physical...jamanetwork.com
COVID-19 spreads primarily through respiratory droplets exhaled when infected people breathe, talk, cough, sneeze, or sing. Most of these droplets are smaller than 10 μm in diameter, often referred to as aerosols. The amount of small droplets and particles increases with the rate and force of airflow during exhalation (eg, shouting, vigorous exercise). Exposure is greater the closer a person is to the source of exhalations. Larger droplets fall out of the air rapidly, but small droplets and the dried particles formed from them (ie, droplet nuclei) can remain suspended in the air. In circumstances with poor ventilation, typically indoor enclosed spaces where an infected person is present for an extended period, the concentrations of these small droplets and particles can build sufficiently to transmit infection.
Epidemiological investigations have helped quantify the benefit of mask wearing to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 (Table; Supplement). At a hair salon in which all staff and clients were required to wear a mask under local ordinance and company policy, 2 symptomatic, infected stylists attended to 139 clients and no infections were observed in the 67 clients who were reached for interviewing and testing. During a COVID-19 outbreak on the USS Theodore Roosevelt, persons who wore masks experienced a 70% lower risk of testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 infection.4 Similar reductions have been reported in case contact investigations when contacts were masked5 and in household clusters in which household members were masked.6
Yes, Ontario had to take the overflow COVID cases from Alberta. Is his memory that short that he doesn't remember that Alberta's healthcare system was on the brink of collapse just three months ago?
