I fuck goats. Have spent many months in thereapy in a vain attempt to stop, but still continue to fuck goats. (please keep in mind I only have sex wilth the cute ones).

Exactly - same for me...Road cycling...I thought golf was bad but cycling is worse (for me).
How do you find the people. I assume you mean real roleplaying games and not those grindfest games that call themselves RPGs in computers and gaming consoles., roleplaying games,,
I have not played in over 10 years and have not had a decent group since about 1998.
It gets tough to get together for those 8-12 hour sessions you need to paly a good game of D+D. Real life intrudes. I miss it to during the winter when the weather is crap.How do you find the people. Skiing in winter, and swimming, but not in Toronto. I'm a licensed diver. Cycling in summer, and I do lift weights, though don't push it to body building, just good general fitness.
I like learning languages and when I travel I try to immerse myself, I travel to learn culture, and hate doing touristy things. My wife and I share this interest we will try and stay with a family in a foreign country and learn the language together. She is extremely extroverted and often manages to befriend people in Toronto who hook us up with a host in the destination country.
I go camping, at least a couple of times a year, I like to get right out into the wild with a canoe, avoiding family camp sites.
I collect firearms and target shoot. These days I am trying to learn minor gun smithing skills to make my own modifications. This is a spectacularly expensive hobby when done right, though I tell myself that guns have a high resale value; wife is not convinced.
I'm not generally a good cook but I do enjoy baking and can make a pretty mean pie or cake. This I will do mostly for big family events, I will bake a few pies for the coming Thanksgiving when the whole extended family will be together.
I play video games sometimes, mostly counter strike, though not much lately.

If you have players, I find it was hard to get a DM. If you don't have a group, I haven't the foggiest how to get one. In the old days they actually sold gaming stuff in hobby shops, an answered ad there and an old BBS and I was in like Flynn. Another time the university had a massive RPG club that had set ups. There are clubs near by with lots of members, but sadly they are all an hour away. I guess it is the curse of living in a smallish city.
I know one dude who plays, and we knew a few others who are willing to roll, but much like prison sex, the ones you want you can't get and the ones you can get you don't want.

Pretty sure I gave this advice to you before but try meetup.com there are a number of them in the gta for rpgs, boardgames, d&d etc. I met some guys a few years ago that way and we still play regularly (2 or 3 times a month)...... keep in mind I had to play in about three or four groups and one guy cherry picked myself and a few other gmaers that he met to make a regular group. I just went and typed in roleplaying and found groups for dungeons and dragons, pathfinder and other groups that play all sorts of rpgs. Get out there try some of those groups meet some people.
Also you could try game conventions where people are running one shots..... might be a way to meet a GM.
Never tried facebook but that might work.
As you mentioned gaming stores..... but seems most stores people are meeting to play magic, heroclix, warhammer and other mini based games.
