LOL!!! Do you honestly believe that ads turned Michigan for Trump? Or Wisconsin?!! How naive are you? HRC didn't even bother to campaign there while Trump was doing five rallies a day. She was fundraising with Barbara Streisand on Martha's Vineyard because the election was won. As they used to say in the old country- eat some fish heads, your memory is failing. Trump won on the message, that's why you can't find any collusion.
Trump won on the message? I guess the massive onslaught of social media propaganda fake news financed by Putin had no effect at all? Or maybe Clinton was the one who conspired with Putin to lose the election? Try to get a grip on reality.

The combination of Russian hacked emails, voter suppression and Facebook and social media attacks may have been enough for Trump to have lost the popular vote yet still one.
Yes.
But a proven MSM for Clinton had no effect?

And Russia even had a fake BLM page they sold merchandise through. Their goal isn't to pick a winner. Just cause dissension and divide the nation.

Considering that also seems to be the Two Parties goal with the media tagging along for ratings I'd say they fit right in with the present political culture in the U.S.

I get around.
Please remember: Nixon was impeached not for the crimes of the Watergate break-in, but for firing the special prosecutor who was investigating it.

This is going to get really interesting when Kushner and Don Jr. are indicted by Mueller.

You dummy Lefties dont really understand whats going on, there are no charges against Trump. If Trump were guilty of something it wouldve leaked by now, and Trump would be either criminally charged or impeached right now!

You Lefties dont seem to understand the game thats going on, the Democrats are trying to paint Trump in as bad a light as they can (without the ability to file charges, because he hasnt done anything wrong). So what the Dems do is keep the (fake) smear game going for as long as they can until the the next elections (and/or midterm elections), in the hope they can keep public opinion as low as possible so Trump wont get re-elected.

US politicians do this because you fucking retarded North-Americans can't think for yourself, thats why. You're fucking stupid!!!

So when the next elections (midterm or 2020) come around, they have your sorry asses in the bag (looking at you fuji, Frankfurter, oagre ...and a bunch of others). But hey, keep thinking Hillary wouldve reigned in paradise if she were elected.

Cheers!!!!

After watching coverage last night and this morning, I am confident that Trump is going down based on the info regarding this Papadopoulos.

He has confessed and is co-operating with investigators. In fact they charged him months ago and has been "proactively co-operating" which basically means he has been working for them even until a few weeks ago and quite possibly going to meetings wearing wires.

They have e-mails of him discussing with Manafort his efforts to set up meetings with the Russians. The Russians wanted meetings with Trump but Manafort recommended those "lower down than DT" to keep things more discrete. Papadopoulos ended out having meetings with the Russians.

They have timelines of Papadopoulous along with the email hacks, the promises of Trump about dirt on Hillary, Jr.'s meeting with the Russians, then Trump cancelling his speech on Hillary's dirt, then Trump imploring the Russians in a speech to come up with the 30,000 e-mails. It is impossible that a hands on guy like Trump was not informed by Manafort and his sons of these upcoming meetings and the coincidence of the timing of these upcoming meetings along with his public declarations of upcoming dirt on Hillary and subsequent cancellations when nothing came of the meetings cannot be denied as more than coincidence.

Mueller has said that they have more info from Papa... that was not released yesterday in their news release. He has given them more and the investigation is more wide ranging. They have more.

Trump said he does not know this guy, Papa..., and today, that Papa... is a liar yet Trump publicly made a statement saying how great Papa... was along with a picture of them a few seats apart at a national security meeting of all things. Trump can't even say he forgot because just last week Trump declared that he has "one of the greatest memories of all time". Hahahaha

For months we have heard, "There is no evidence, there is no evidence, there is no evidence. They would have already released it."

Well now they have released some evidence (and they still have much more) and soon the refrain will be, "There is no Trump presidency, there is no Trump presidency, there is no Trump presidency."

I don't need to make bets as the egg on the collective faces of and Butler and Soupy and Phil etc. will be enough. Making declarations and bets before investigations are finished is STUPID. People should learn that there are times to keep your mouth shut. As the saying goes, "It is better to say nothing and let people think you are a fool, than to open your mouth and prove them right".

I imagine the retorts will simply be a generalization of Libs, and you will see and, who knows what other drivel. I would prefer reasoned arguments of each of my above points, but I am not holding my breath.

I think you are wrong.

I think there is a lack of real evidence. I think the fact that Trump, according to the evidence presently released never took a meeting, let alone received any Intel. Nor did, it appears, anyone in the campaign. They talked about it. But nothing came of it.

I'm not sure what media you have been watching. I've been watching CNN, MSNBC. And reading BBC, Reuters and s few others. While some pundits are speculating I haven't heard a sound argument yet that Trump is in any legal jeopardy.

Manafort is not going to flip. Nor will Gates. Their legal team will get things reduced. Pay fines and maybe two years in a country club white collar fed prison. Some asset forfeiture.

Then Trump will pardon either on the way out or shortly after he wins again. And any hidden money will be cleared.

The other option for those two is about the same time, no pardon and for turning on Putin a death sentence.

See that's how it works. If Trump is innocent he has nothing to worry about. If he is guilty then the colluded won't cross Putin. He will kill them.

No one knows what cooperation has been given by Papadipolous. Hell it could have been to get Manafort and have nothing to do with Trump.

We shall see

The member of the intelligence committee stated that this is not the beginning of the end of the investigation. It is the end of the beginning of the investigation. No wonder Trump tweeted that this Papadoupolous guy is a liar and a low level volunteer. As usual he now contradicts what he stated to the Washington Post. He called him an expert in the oil and gas sector and an "EXCELLENT GUY". There is a likelihood that Papadopolous who was charged a few months ago by the FBI was wired. Very coincidental that it was revealed that he plead guilty on the same day as Mannafort and Gates' indictments.

Bad mistake by Trump to now attack this guy. It could come back to haunt him.

But it was okay for the biggest dummy called Trump to insist that Clinton was going to jail. She was guilty of all sorts of nonsense that his mostly illiterate base bought. All those investigations even on the eve of the elections and no smoking gun or charges. Yet now the shoe is on the other foot and it is all the "Lefties" nonsense now being spewed out by the Trump cheerleaders. Here there are "Guilty" and "Indictment" charges already dished out to the small fries on the Trump side, and this is only the beginning. Out of the two Trump and Clinton, I cannot say who is or who is not guilty of the Russian Collusion or other crimes. But Trump is the more likely to be impeached rather than Clinton going to jail. Yet I did not hear the Lefties repeatedly talk about impeachment like the Trump cheerleaders on this board and their constant rants about Clinton and jail during the campaigns and right up to the firing of Comey. I know that was such a disappointment for the Trump cheerleaders as they believed the biggest liar called Trump and his trumped charges against Clinton that to this day he keeps on tweeting without any substance.

Democratic press turns on Mueller....

Mueller is running amok
http://theweek.com/articles/734070/mueller-running-amok

The purpose of the investigation is to determine whether the presidential campaign of Donald Trump knowingly colluded with the Russian government in the hope of altering the outcome of the 2016 election, not to see whether any person even loosely connected with the former could be found guilty of any crime, including perjury. The resignation of Tony Podesta from the prominent lobbying group he founded in the wake of Manafort's indictment suggests that we are getting very far afield indeed.

Tell you what, I'll make you an avatar bet right now that says Trump wont be charged criminally, nor will he be impeached before he serves his current 4-year term.

Do we have a deal??

I'll betcha Clinton won't be. Her hubby was impeached by the House, but he was acquitted, when he was tried by the Senate. Trump's record with this Senate is spotty at best, but unlike Wily Wiiley, he should have the House on his side, at least 'til 2020.

After that, … you can't impeach an ex-candidate.

Hahahahahaha!

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-poli...eller-indictments-manafort-gates-papadopolous

Papadopapopalolapadous has been cooperating with Mueller for months now. That may mean wearing a wire.
Manafort's in big trouble for taking cash from Russian linked Ukranians.
Ever wonder why Trump wouldn't release his taxes and why his son said they had tons of business in Russia?
Ever wonder who bailed him out last time he went bankrupt?
The allegation was that Trump's campaign "colluded" with the Russians to hack the Democrats' emails. There's no evidence to support that, and the quote you cited claimed the Russians already had the emails.

As for meetings with people who claimed to have dirt on the candidate's opponent, last week you were calling that good "opposition research" (https://terb.cc/vbulletin/showthrea...ssia-dossier&p=5967516&viewfull=1#post5967516).

With Papadapalopalopadopalous having turned, that means that they likely have access to all email he was sent. Plus whatever intel he added between the plea and these charges.

With Manafort prospectively losing all his cash to the FBI and Trump's dodgy financial past, he's going to be worrying about that.

But the killer, are things Trump said himself.
After all, Trump promised big secrets about the Clinton campaign would be revealed in a speech. He made that claim on June 7, promising a speech on June 13.
The Clinton emails were released on June 12.

June 7th, 2016: Donald J Trump gives speech in which he promises a major speech about Hillary Clinton’s crimes on June 13th. “I am going to give a major speech on … probably Monday [June 13th] of next week and we’re going to be discussing all of the things that have taken place with the Clintons. I think you’re going to find it very informative and very, very interesting.”

June 8th, 2016: First tweet posted to “DCLeaks” Twitter account.

June 9th, 2016: Donald Trump, Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort meet with Natalia Veselnitskaya. Trump agreed to take the meeting after being told by Trump associate Rob Goldstone that Veselnitskaya had damaging information about Hillary Clinton which came from a Russian government operation to help his father Donald J. Trump.

June 12th, 2016: Julian Assange first announces that Wikileaks has Clinton emails which are soon to be released. “Wikileaks has a very big year ahead … We have emails related to Hillary Clinton which are pending publication.”
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/look-at-the-timeline

Once again Trump's words are going to haunt him.

Kushner took a meeting.

Agree. They have not said that yet. But they pretty much agree that this is the start and that Mueller knows how to play his hand. He was not hired to go after the little fish.

Manafort is not going to flip. Nor will Gates. Their legal team will get things reduced. Pay fines and maybe two years in a country club white collar fed prison. Some asset forfeiture.
His charges can bring about 15 years in jail, which for a 68 year old is basically a life sentence. If Papadopoulos got a sweet deal, and they can offer something as sweet to Manafort, who knows. Do not forget Flynn who is surely in their crosshairs. Evidently, there is stuff that they can go after Flynn's son with and every parent's instinct is to protect their children. I believe that Manafort is not their only option. There is also Carter Page. And who knows who else? We never heard of Papadopoulos before yesterday. Priebus (who got treated poorly). Spicer (a devout Catholic who did not get to meet the Pope.)

Then Trump will pardon either on the way out or shortly after he wins again. And any hidden money will be cleared..
They have charged Manafort and Gates in some different jurisdictions which are not federal, hence Trump has no pardon power there.

See that's how it works. If Trump is innocent he has nothing to worry about.
If he was innocent he would have co-operated from the beginning and people like Flynn and Kushner and Sessions etc. would not have changed their stories so many times.

No one knows what cooperation has been given by Papadipolous. Hell it could have been to get Manafort and have nothing to do with Trump.
As I'd said, a man of Mueller's stature was not hired to get the little fish.

We shall see
On that, we agree 100%. Actually that is what most of us have been saying along. Let's see what the investigation comes out with before making declarations of guilt or innocence. The people who have been declaring all along that there is no evidence, there is nothing he is innocent etc. have not been as rational and even they need to admit, as you just have, their position is not as guaranteed as time goes on, especially after yesterday.

BTW, enjoying the rational discussion.
