Oh really Farrah, would you like to try out one of my clubs that has an oversized head and extra firm, long shaft with thick a grip for maximum driving distance? LMAO
I also have a couple of hot, bouncy balls that will go really far when hit on my club's sweet spot. :)

sorry, couldn't resist after you're nude comment

My fav course is Richmond Hill, twilight rate in June July is cheap. The #11 is one of the most difficult holes in Canada top 20.

Had my best game last year 88 2 Mulligans.

Ok people let's focus here...golf remember!! :p

What is more important to you guys, the amenities or the course?
Amenities who cares, Osprey valley is the perfect example. I want the course to be in the best possible shape it can be. I can clean my own clubs and pick up food on the way home.

Farrah golfing in the nude, the possibilities are endless....lmao

Why can't we have both, Farrah playing naked with me at my favourite course. St. George's. I hope I score well. Hard to concentrate though. :D

I hit a bucket at Andy Bathgate's on Eglinton in Miss. yesterday. It was packed. You had to wait for a spot.

Today I'm playing Deer Creek. Time to lose my cabin fever.

LOL, the 1hr 15min frost delay was a killer at Deer Creek today! Spent about an hour or so on the range and putting green at the Academy. Guess it helped. Shot an 83 today... rough front 9, 3 over on the back. Couldn't buy a birdie putt either! ARGH!! If you head some "FORE!" it was probably my drives on the front 9. LOL

We got lucky. We had a 12:36 but since we were a twosome the starter let us off around 12:25. Finished about 5:10 and got home to see the last 6 holes plus playoff.

It was a beautiful day. I even got some suntan.

Lucky for you guys! It was a traffic jam on some of the holes when we played. We teed off around 1:15pm and didn't finish until just after 6pm!! The group in front of us took forever to putt out... it's like watching the PGA players putt as they walk all around the green twice and that's for each person... The marshalls are idiots too 'cause they tell us to speed up and we tell him that it ain't gonna get any better if the group in front doesn't first. That's WAY too long a round but being out on such a great day made it just fine by me.

I don't know if we're talking about the same Richmond Hill course ray, but I find it to be one of the most over priced courses in the GTA. $80 a round (daytime) on a course that is only marginally longer that the executive course it replaced 20 years ago (Royal Downs). The 11th is one of the toughest holes on the course, but only because the fairway slopes so dramatically. It's tight but if you can hit your driver staright, you can pound it past the trouble (270-300 is reasonable with a good roll down the hill) and come up about 80 yrds from the green.

I can easily think of at least 30 holes I've played in the GTA, let alone Canada, that are tougher. The par 3 8th at Uplands is way tougher, and sometimes get's mentioned as one of the toughest in the country.

I do have to agree with Farrah though...Lambton is underated and get's lost in the shadow of St. George's, Toronto and the other private courses in the city. A good course and it's well laid out and picturesque. The new clubhouse is a big improvement. They have a nice par 3 course as well.

Two of my favourites are the tournament course at the Board of Trade and (I don't think anyone has mentioned it) Angus Glen.

I'm not a fan of the North Course at Angus Glen. Maybe because everytime I've played you have to take a cart and it it's been cart path only which makes it a 6 hr round. I've always like the south course but it seemed to take a hit to it's reputation after the Canadian Open was there a few years ago and the Pros were not that complementary.

Wherever I shouldn't be
The Club at Bond Head

Has anyone played this one? I have and it was the best overall golf experience I have had in Canada. From the time we pulled into the parking lot until the time we left everything was first class, especially the golf. Just one word of advice, don't even think about the back tees unless you're a scratch golfer, and even then.......

Bathurst Glen and Whispering Ridge (in Whitby) are two well kept public courses that are beginner friendly but still challenging.
I've heard lots of good things about Lakeview but haven't been able to get a tee time.

I played Bond Head 2 weeks ago. It was one of, if not the toughest course I've played. There was a Great Lakes Tour event ahead of us ( minor pro) . There were 70 pros playing 36 holes and only 4 rounds were under par. Anyone who plays the back tees is silly. It's 7500 yards from there. We played at 6500 and it was a chellenge. Tee to green it is a challenge, but the greens were unreal, they'd double cut them and had the pins in the toughest spots. It was fun, though. Complaints? Service was so so, the fairways were in need of work, several were in rough shape. I know they have growing pains, but I played twilight and it was $155, I expect better service. I've heard they are hurting for players, in fact I received an email from them offering 2 for 1 on a weekend prime time (9-12). They'll iron out the rough spots, and the course will mature, but not worth $155, or $185 (regular fees)
