The tweet which used a local news channel report showed a family which was grieving over the loss of their 24 year old son due to the administration of a vaccine.

The tragedy is that statically his chance of death without the vaccine was infinitesimally small. Given his age and the fact that he had no underlying health issues.

His fathers reaction was especially hard to sit through......

Myocarditis deaths are extremely rare from a vaccine for a virus where death is also extremely rare. Young people don't need the vaccine yet they die from myocarditis that is caused by the vaccine.

Myocarditis from covid is far more common that myocarditis from the vaccine. Check and mate.

Since myocarditis is more common from covid, not getting vaccinated increases the risk. Not a comfort for the family but it sure rips to shreds the fake crocodile tears of the anti-vax crew.

So then why do people who've had covid with mild or no symptoms need the vaccine if they had no severe reaction to covid.

Som many ways I can answer this but you won;t listen to any of them.

First is there is no way to know how your body will respond to infection until AFTER you've had it. Second, each infection is an individual event, especially as the virus mutates. Rational people will realize that some cold or flu infections hit you harder than others and the same will apply to covid infections. Could go into much more detail but you won't look at it anyway.

Because they wanted to be careful based on very preliminary data. In the year since that happened, we've seen pretty good evidence it's safe and covid is more likely to cause cardiac events than the vaccine.
