But the girls should know better than to record porn and expect the guys doing it are upstanding gentlemen who will only show it within the confines of some porn shop.

They willingly did porn on a commercial media for distribution. Even the if the distributors originally sold it on DVDs - they can't stop content getting eventually copied on the internet. They are not in control of the content at that stage.

If I was the judge I would be torn by the dishonesty of the producers and financially rewarding stupidity. Fraud charges for the producers but $ 50 100 K based on lost royalties. on the porno they agreed to make.

a) I would suggest the opinion that the farmer should have been aware this was not feasible as no one could promise the contractual result. I would view the requested damages appropriately.

b) You react to your feelings depending if the Farmer was male or female. Males = evil; females = delicate butterfly unable to make decisions and must be protected against evil lying men.
