Because the PM sides with Israel on the right to retaliate for kidnappings, he must want as many Lebanese dead as possible.

If you judge the leadership of a great nation solely in terms of photo ops, sure. What fatuous nonsense. When do we see him fly onto a carrier, waving a banner that says 'mission accomplished'?

First of all, the PM is not allowed to travel via Air Canada due to security reasons. Harper and his wife were already in Europe at the G8 convention so they are not solely there for a photo-op with a bunch of temporary Canadians. I just hope it turns Mark's stomach so much that he chokes on it.

Would agree with this. Harper spent the night in Afganistan with combat forces in the field. It would be interesting to know more about how this was done, to keep him secure and such.

Sorry, I was wrong. I forgot Mean Jean also had someone sneak into 24 Sussex to take a peek at the missus while she was sleeping. Mean Jean and Mr Dithers don't have the charisma that Trudeau and other leaders have had, so I guess there was never going to be a crisis on their watch for them to be a "LEADER" about.
