Why anyone gives so much s**t about celebrities like Cruise (and Oprah and Brittney and Bono - yes Bono, etc...) is beyond me. Most of the stars are yahoos and trailer trash with money, ego, scientology or some other cult that thinks for them and masks for intelligence.

Tom Cruise level!!!

From www.defamer.com:

A current Scientologist who has reached the level OT-V, and who also spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that considering the amount of time Cruise has been in the church, an OT-VII status seems probable. And Stephen Kent, a professor of sociology at the University of Alberta who has published articles on Scientology and Hollywood, also said that Cruise’s behavior strongly suggests OT-VII.

Cruise is acting as though he “feels he’s more in control over his environment and can convince more people to look into the organization,” Kent said. “In the high OT levels one supposedly gains the skills to master one’s universe. One is removing countless entities that have been holding people back. Cruise feels that he has freed himself from thousands of errant thetans, and he seems to be in a kind of euphoria he hasn’t experienced before.”
He's a top level idiot already!!! Yeah right. Tom Cruise has all the answers to life!!!! That's why he can't seem to keep a relationship or family going. But he can tell me how to live my life!!! What an F-ing joke he is.

As far as Cruise goes - it will be fun watching his career slowly self destruct. The man is on a slow burn of intolerance and anger. People like these are always in for a rude awakening.

I guess he figures that he's got enough fame and money to develop a platform (as idiotic as the subject be) where he can be the master of his own universe.

I'd love to see someone close to him fall into a deep depression - I'd like to see "Dr. Cruise" "heal" them of their malady with of course, exercise and vitamins.

There's nothing worse than a celebrity who assumes he is ascribed a much more glorified role than what he's actually accomplished in life - Cruise is an actor - not a doctor, not a researcher and certainly not a patient who has depression (narcissitic tendencies with maybe a sprinkling of paranoid delusion -but not depression.).

And Jeff is right, why should I listen to a moron who can't get his marriage/s right.

For the record Scientology is very much against psychiatry and the drugs psychiatrics prescribe to patients as a "cure". Believe it or not but Scientolgy has done a lot of research and have exposed a lot of truth about the harm commited by psychiatry and psychiatric drugs. They warned people about the negative effects of Prozac at least 10 years before Eli Lilly was found to have repressed important information about the harmful side effects of the drug they were producing.

Disagree with the religion as much as you like but I have found in matters regarding psychiatric abuse, psychiatric drugs, drug pushing by pharmacuetical companies, et al. that Scientology's stance is without fault.

As for Tom Cruise...People don't expect celebrities to do anything beyond sit and look pretty. So when a celebrity speaks passionately about a serious social issue everyone's feathers get all ruffled. They say he's crazy, I say he's just being a responsible human being.

He is just parroting the scientology mantra . It's not a religion it's a cult and Tom is well and truly brainwashed .

"Scientology is without fault " you say ? C'mon it's a bunch of lies and half truths . Wake up , go to a deprogrammer before you give them any more money.

There are a lot of organizations who have done the research and work to expose the truth regarding the negative effects of psychiatry and psychiatric drugs. You might as well attack them too.

I never said I was a Scientologist. I have known a few people who are, and I have had a chance to read some of their anti-drug literature. I do consider myself open minded and less prone to sensationalistic generalizations and hearsay.

Sorry , but that's exactly how I would classify Cruise's statements. Sensationalistic combined with a lot of heresay. Very few facts when challenged.

Have some people been overprescribed with psychiatric drugs.....yes , of course they have . Are all such drugs unnecessary .....no . Is psychiatry all bad .....no. I think 90% of the population including medical professionals , scientists etc would agree with the above statements. Are you saying they are wrong?

Thanks for the links Alexa..

But holy shit, I am afraid for her... If that was not all an act, then the guy is gone over the deep end and... The way he was "hugging" Oprah and how he brought katie what's her name out to the crowd (arms behind the back) was kind of scary...

Perhaps the reason he's no longer married to Nicole Kidman is because she refused to partake in his committment to Scientology.
I've seen a few articles that suggested just that. In recent years she has made statements that aren't necessarily against Scientology but certainly suggest that her beliefs lie elsewhere

Ironically, Nicole's father is a clinical psychologist.

John Travolta, Kirstie Ally, Tom Cruise. Interesting how only the true geniuses in Hollywood gravitate to this crap.
