Right on about Bobby and Jenn.
I am kinda surprised about Christina and Corey. I agree with ramsay tonite, seems Corey is slipping, very surprised she cracked like she did tonite and even volunteered herself, although it would've been a shock if Matt didnt get the boot.
If christina gets put on the block again, i think that would be it for her.
I would like to see Jenn go next, cant stand all the talking, at least Bobby only talks up about himself in the interview sections and not everywhere all the time lol

I get the feeling Petrozza might lose himself and screw up big time with all the hot ladies around next week

As far as I can tell Gordon is very successful in running restaurants, selling cookbooks and getting ratings for TV shows. I think it is generally accepted that the restaurant business is very very difficult---so someone who is successful is sought out for advice and made a celebrity. Same goes for Emeril, Flay, Puck, Batali, Oliver and so on.

The difference between Ramsay and all of the others noted above is how he presents himself to TV viewers. I guarantee none of these top chefs are real sweethearts to work for in the kitchen---being a hardass is part of being a successful restauranteur. But you don't see any of these other guys acting like jackasses on TV.

I like the Kitchen Nightmares show is very good, but this Hells Kitchen is total bullshit. Most of those people are not qualified to carry the jockstrap of a true chef--to say that after passing the show they are qualified to be called a chef is a huge insult to anyone with any culinary training.

I prefer KN but at least one eposode was too obviously scripted. The one with the moldy fridge, where he called the dude a pig and walked out when Ramsays new menu failed with a critic and the owner wanted to serve her one of his old creations.

Then all of a sudden Buddy comes back in and boom! he gets his way again. There is no way the anger level of someone as stubborn as the owner would go from 60 to 0 in minutes. Never mind that it was a dish from Ramsays new menu that failed.

I suspect from what I've seen that pretty much every reality show is heavily scripted, the only difference is some are better at hiding it then others. Like when Gene Simmonds is telling someone to keep a secret, in a room full of cameras and crew.
dude - the dish for the critic failed because he over-salted it...
the video even showed him hitting it (with salt) 4 or 5 times.
looked like sabotage to me.

Hey You!

I love this show...This is the way all pricks(English) Judges---Gordon Ramsey,Simon Cowell,Lars(Am.got talent),(U can dance) coming over the pond and spice up the US TV ratings.

I followed the first 2 seasons of HK,,,great hey you donkey (bleep-bleep).It's so tame in the UK versions as it's his home country and he's with friggin' celebrities.

Those people in the HK restaurant pay? No way! All the food has to be paid by the network. No guest would go to a fancy restaurant and pay for just bread and mineral water, when there's no food coming out of the kitchen.

I only seen 2 episodes of this season...so I'm lost. But I do remember Patrozza is old fart whom can't remember simple ingredients,Bobby is the most talented for the guys,,,long moustache killer Matt still around...what about that little asian mohawk? Don't like the gals...just bitchyness.Last season Hell's Bitchess!

Always for photo shoots the gals win. If your Gordon would you want to take a photo of a dyk or some dress up sluts?
But the gals hardly lose challenges as GR a bias hard ass.I guess that's the way men can be hard as chief like him.

One thing I never understand is ...when the service of the restaurant...Both kitchens make the same menu every night since day one. A risotto,a meat/fish/game or a dessert. What not enough time for routine switch?

I don't particularily like any of this season's contestants, there doesn't appear to be an obvious frontrunner(s) like in seasons' past. My pick of the best of the worst....Corey.

The strange thing is they are all smokers (remaining cast). I didn't even see how they can properly taste the food.

I didn't expect Bobby to go out before Petrozza. Keeping Jen is better for rating I guess.

I don't get upset about t.v. shows. Jen and Bobby don't come across as class acts. Bobby and Jen both blamed their "students" for their failures on this show. It was clear that none of the 'ladies" had any cooking talent.

I guess I only watch reality shows where there is some great ass, ie - Dancing with the Stars, Beauty and the Geeks etc - only watch Ramsay because I admire the man as an operator. He is talented and sharp - in Kitchen Nightmares he walks in and has a common sense approach - basics like cleaning up that damn kitchen that is a shit hole. But in HK I don't know how he does it week after week - this last season he has a bunch of no talent dumb ass wimps that can't cook and he is going to give one of those fools a $250K contract and a kitchen to run. I only worked in a kitchen for 4 years and have taken some vacations to Tuscany to cooking schools but hell, I can out cook any one of those red neck bozos - and still do a few of the waitresses in the walk-in. I am just about to watch tonights episode if I can stay up -

Sorry didn't mean to be a spoiler.

Cook off. Ramsey brought in 5 hot ladies as students for final five to teach the ladies too cook a lobster dish/spaghetti. The final 5 could only instruct and no help prepare. Came down to Christina and Corey. Winner: Christina

Winner: Christina got to cook/eat with Ramsey and two other top chefs from L.A. and got tips.

Losers: Did kitchen clean up. (Normal jealousy routine and grumbling. Bobby complaining about not winning any challenges.)

Dinner Service: Christina continued out preforming on appetizers (Got complements from chef), Corey was working a couple of stations (no problems), Petrozza was working veg and seem to barely be making the grade, Jen was either sending out raw fish or over-cooked fish, Bobby seemed to struggle on meat. There was some drama when the "top 12" came in. The top 12 were Hawaiian Tropic models. Chef Ramsey took over Jen's station, started yelling at Petrozza and Bobby.

There was also some drama about Jen in mid service. Jen got crap from Ramsey for something she didn't do. Instead of just saying "Yes chef" she tried to argue. Ramsey complained about her attitude and the way she drags herself after being called out.

Christina was declared the best on the day.

Elimination: Christina picked Jen and Bobby. The usual why do you think you should be here. He asked Christina which contestant should be eliminated she said "Jen", Ramsey thought about it then eliminated "Bobby".

Closing the show Ramsey said he was waiting for Bobby to step up but he never did.

Note: For some reason Corey's serious burn from previous show had miraculously healed. There wasn't even a bandage.

This restaurant in la has his name on it(his enterprise) none of this chefs are going to make it, it is down to corey and christina but neither one is a head chef, don't no how this one will play out.

I am leaning toward Corey she is young, can learn and has the schooling behind her. She isn't a head chef but Ramsey can have a strong enough team to carry her for a year then perhaps reevaluate (if she hasn't grown into the job by then).

Ramsey kept Jenn for the ratings, as head bitch, sort of like Omorosa.

Agree...she definitely soaks up the camera time...Bobby like Petroza will fade away.
Final two...Corey and Christina.
They do work well as a team...maybe he will offer both of them the job :D
