so there was a time in my life when i loooved going dancing to hip hop

well now.. i am totally out of the loop. i have no idea wheres cool these days.

sierra and i were thinking about shaking our booties like we used to in grade 12 this weekend.
any suggestions for a sexy club on friday or saturday night (downtown ideally)

we like a mix of old school (early 90's too) R and B and newer stuff...
a classy place, but not too classy
i wanna go somewhere where people are actually dancing (cause "people dont dance no 'mo)

Back in the day it was Club Power, Granite Lounge and Fluid for me. Not sure if they are still around (actually I know for sure Power isn't anymore). 90's hip hop and r&b was the best. DJ Starting from Scratch is at Club Revival 783 College St. The other place I've been too recently was Shallow Groove, Saturday nights are a mix of r&b,hip hop, old school and reggae.

You know, I should just open a club and call it 90s HIP HOP R&B MIX and watch the people flock.

They play rnb/hip, house, reggae/soca both old and new. Best of all they have a 23 and up mature crowd.

10 dollar cover and always a good turnout.
