Which one(s) would wear a 16-18 dress size, like yourself?

They all look lovely and nothin wrong with a little extra softness!

I personally would call that curvy/voluptuous not BBW. Just my opinion though.

I went over this with my personal trainer just last week, the BMI suggestion for my age (34) and height (5'4'') was 150 lbs, actually the computer came up with 170 lbs for my age and height but naturally the trainer had to take another 20 off of that... So, I would, educated guess here, at 200 lbs, which is around where I am now, I am BBW, and have been told a "small" one at that by the OP's who have met me. Point -- we call carry it differently and we all have opinions.
I think we can differentiate between small medium and large BBW. I suppose every woman carries her weight differently so it's not easily determined by height/weight ratio. For example studentsam is about 180 lbs and 5'4" and I consider her a small BBW.

Totally agree, K! And that is not in any way an offensive differentiation so I do hope to see more of it in the SP ad world.

I got ripped for this by a SP on this board, but any women that is overweight by 20+ pounds or size 10 and up.
Size 10 on a woman who is 5`1" would not be visually the same as it is on a woman who is 5`10" so defining it by size makes no sense.

Just like 20 lbs on a woman who is 5`1" would not be visually the same as it is on a woman who is 5`10" so defining it by an additional amount of pounds makes no sense.

Um sweetie, I don`t think any SP can make ends meet with just one client and if you think that size 25 will only get one client, you are totally mis-informed. LOL There is a huge market for larger women and then there is another huge market for large x 2 plus 10 in size. There really is a market for almost anything woman wise.

To me a BBW in REAL life measurements is 185-225 depending on height, curves and placement of weight. A proper size 10/12 -16. So for escort sizes that would be 150-190lbs. Breast larger then the stomach, defined waist line, nice smile, clean skin, etc. Attitude and sex appeal, confidence, and femininity. But hey, what do I know. I am not a hobbyist. LOL
I will agree with much of what Femme says but I will actually adjust the numbers a bit (am quoting and editing):

"To me a BBW in REAL life measurements is 165-280 depending on height, curves and placement of weight. A proper size 14 -20. So for escort sizes that would be 150-200lbs. Breast larger then the stomach, defined waist line, nice smile, clean skin, etc. Attitude and sex appeal, confidence, and femininity."

Reason I adjusted the actual weights is I factored in those who are 5`0" straight through those over 6`0".
Reason I adjusted the size range is outside of two stores you cannot typically purchase size 12 in a plus size clothing store. If you can shop at lululemon you are either below average height or not a bbw because you are not over a size 12.
Escort Weight is such a line of crud. I`ve seen women who weigh 170 lbs and are a size 8-9 posting 123lbs. Some will post nothing and at least that is more honest.

If she`s standing up and looks straight down to her toes (no bending)....and can`t see them, then she`s BBW.
I haven`t seen my toes since I was 11. They are called breasts. I`ve been a BBW in real life, and I have been as slim as a size 6-8 in real life. I couldn`t see my toes regardless.

I believe today is her last day in Toronto (I`m secretly lusting after her...)

Kat I have been not so secretly lusting after her! I hope she comes back and someone is around to arrange some play time! She`s very sexy isn`t she!

Hahaha!
Can't help myself, but that's funny and pretty flattering, thank you girls!
The definition is different for everyone, when I started, I was really emphazing the BBW/Voluptuous appelation in my branding.
For some, I wasn't for others I was. It's just semantic, but there is also a downside with the appellation BBW, for some people, they wouldn't click on my add if it was writtend BBW because they assume thats a BBW is a very very large lady (Honey Boo Boo mom), and not maybe a chubby, bigger, curvy, voluptous woman. So yeah, it's hard. That's why we have picture, if a potentiel lover can't figure I'm more on the heavier side, well he clearly needs glasses XD. I'm a proud Phatass!

I have just noticed this post and decided to chime in. Just like Amanda said above, when you put BBW in an add, you can open as many doors as you close. I am a booty conissueur and have been burned many times because individuals put Booty in their adds, when in reality, they have a complete lack of. As a personal rule I look for ladies with a hip measurement greater than 38" (Harder than you think), and a waist measurement of atleast 10" less. As the weight increases, so should the difference between the waist and hips. To me this ensures that they have a booty. However, the term BBW is all relative to experience. For example, someone who loves spinners may think a bbw is much smaller than someone who loves curvy women. Its a difficult question to answer. Good luck, happy hobbying.
Cheers.

I missed this very interesting thread when it started as I was living in a country where the IP address was blocked, but I have to say as a lover of the big soft women this term BBW is all over the place. It all started in the late 90's it seems where every woman who was considered "big" began to use it no matter what she looked like, be it 160 lbs or 425 lbs, which lead me to believe what many have said here, it means different things to different people. But it has become hijacked by some, I remember going to a BBW admirers Yahoo group (remember those) in Toronto and wow what an eye opener, some women were just great, beautiful, friendly and interesting people. But they were overshadowed by the bitter, angry, been rejected many times women who masked all that low self esteem in a "bitch shield" a real eye opener and a turn off for which I never returned again to another event.
