How lucrative of a career is it being a stripper, MPA, or SP?

Tee11, the point I am making, most of the ladies working are young upstarts with stars in there eyes fed a lot of B/S of potential money then there world becomes a nightmare and can't handle the rejection of not being the headliner girl anymore then menus change to get the edge on the market place and a hudge health risk factor is in place, drugs, alcohol! In other words a shelf life, with a expiration date.
Then you know the answer I am sure.

So you're saying that the average corporate lawyer makes more than a working girl?

Why do I find that a bit hard to swallow? Seriously...

I knew one dancer who'd come out to my neck of the woods for 3-5 weeks. Worked 7 nights a week. Would be doing lapdances nonstop for 5 hours at about 360 bucks an hour. At that time, the split between dancer and club was 33% to club and 67% to dancer.

Basic math says $37,800 to 63,000 per trip. She did about 7-10 trips a year.

She was VERY successful and in VERY high demand. Hell, many nights I couldn't even get a dance with her she was that popular.

Let's say she made half of what I'm estimating per trip. Still amounts to about $200k a year. She also went on 1-2 weeks trips somewhere exotic after every tour.

What a way to live...

Definitely made low six figures.

Retired now, baby and happy. I'm so glad for her!

Another stripper I knew bought ten houses, rented them out and lives the life of Riley. Smart woman that one and FRACKIN' HOT!

Definitely some smart ones out there.

As for SP's, can't say. I can't sit back and watch them at work, doin' the hustle and how long they spend in the VIP room and run estimates and have my estimates validated by actual observations.

Sad thing is, the strip club industry is dying. Open less nights, less hot chicks, less patronage mid-week (at least in my town) and for the moment, I don't go and blow $10K a year there staring at boobies I can't touch. I know there are other dudes doing it, but thanks to the internet and the competition from SP's (which are a waay better deal), well, the SC's are hurtin.

So it goes...

Well I would think if one is operating as a self employed worker, such as in the case of a stripper, sp, and massage attended, even adult model. One would take into account that money at times is hard to come by, so people would put a side a savings for a rainy day; or at least invest their saving into something that would benefit them at the end of their career.

Such as part – time education, RRSP, GIC, saving bonds, investing in something they want to do maybe in the future. After all there does come a day when one has to re-evaluated their present and future situation.

As for strippers I knew a few and they make descent money for a while.

Then it all slows down, some go in to adult porn modeling thinking they are going to get rich. Not! Very few ever do well once all the studio, production companies and web based companies use them up over the next few couple years of being in the business sector.

I knew a girl once that got laid off her job and ended up working at a rub n tuck, if you know what I mean…..and she made shit money.

It has always been my experience to see woman do very well in the beginning. Making very lucrative money, but in the end result it becomes like any other business.

It all relies ones ability to treat your customer’s right, do the right kind of networking, and taking the steps towards building ones customer client base.

So it does not surprise me to read such things about income levels varying low to high in any industry inside the adult sector or out side the adult sector. Quite truthfully it all depends on your ability to services ones clients, network with people, and operated with in ones industry, through avenues of marketing ones self.

Example, Of marketing stems in fact from something I was just reading about in red light district in the Netherlands…How the big three brothels there, use sub contractual works, and because of the slow now in the economy.

They have begun using repeat customer incentive, as a way to lure clients back who are now watching their pennies, and provide them with some extend quality services.

Okay enough said here LOL

My guess is the majority of them are living week to week, many are shopaholics, others buy drugs etc. We think these girls rake it in but it's not easy fucking guys you're mostly not atracted to, many have to take time off to avoid burnout.

I would think in any industry there is some degree of burn out. I am also sure it not easy for a woman in this industry to do some guys. Giving the fact men vary in personality, and size; some egotistic, some self centered, some who do not know how to treat a woman and have a buyer attitude, treating a person like a product without respect.

Nevertheless I am sure there, is some using drug for say, as stated etc, but, I am also sure there are those who are not involved in drugs or other things, because they see this as an opportunity to achieve some livelihood or growth to another end goal.

Quite honestly who am I to judge or say, many are shopaholics…honestly, I would say, in your statement you address one answers,” it's not easy fucking guys you're mostly not atracted to “ so if they want to go shopping and let them self feel good. Why not?

After all, after a hard week’s work doe not most people want to treat themselves to something special. Everyone is deserving of enjoying the pleasure from the fruits of their labor….no matter what the job description may entail.

As for living week to week I think this is a lot of people in varying careers. Since money is hard to come by at times. This why it best to learn the rules of accounting and budget like a happy camper…who knows when someone might decided to retire and open up a chain of Tim Horton. LOL

As in ending I am not going to stereotype one popular sub cultural group with terms such as addictions… someone basing their perception on things they see in analytic static’s may be. I think people do things for because it what they feel is there only choice…after all life is cruel at times and people they can be insensitive, and self absorbed.

In my opinion what separates the winners from the loser, is their innate ability to get knocked down and get up again….to meet the struggle another day.

So who cares if they living pay check to check pay …that 70% of the population LOL

I have talked to 2 SP's recently (last 3-4 months) about this subject. One of them estimated she had earned $400k cash in 7.5 years working full time (4 days a week on average) and she has $30k cash in savings to show for it, paid $15k for her school fees and has lots of good memories of partying and holidays.

Sure, I guess a popular agency SP working 3-4 days a week could earn $80k a year cash but it is also what you do with that money is what also matters! (ie, I agree with Ballzdeep)

A friend of mine in SoCal manages a strip club, has been doing it for over 10 years. I asked him about this awhile back and he told me in the 10+ years he's been doing it, out of the thousands upon thousands of girls he's only seen TWO girls that have done this (saved and invested their money wisely and retired financially independent). They are clearly the rare exception. From what he said, most of them have an expensive lifestyle and spend it all (and then some).

Exaclty...so isn't it nice when someone know how to do it right. This is why I say not all are like this.....:)

Okay so what you are saying is she earned 400k over 7.5 years ( 7.5 divided 400k = $53,333) not bad for a yearly income.... and paying bills, and 30K in cash savings 15 k for schook over 7.5 years.....
Sounds to me she did okay after you work out the cost of living.

I think it's sad when I hear of ladies who have been good enough to make a fair chunk of change in the SP/MP field but don't set aside anything for the future. Not sure if they don't think about the (usually) short length of their career or what. Especially if they aren't declaring the income as they aren't contributing anything to their CPP or EI.

It's not restricted to the SP/MP field tho... I think it's just as sad to see people work all week at any job and then spend it all w/o saving anything for their future.

(And yes I spent a long time working pay check to pay check when I was young too but even then a part of it was going to bonds)

It is great to hear success stories and is sad to hear about SP's working for years and not having anything except memories of living the high life for a short period of time.

It is their money at the end of the day but I am surprised that they would spend the money so easily when they worked so hard for it. I guess when you are young you don't think about the future and finances/security etc.

Depends who you are...if you think saving 8% of salary is good then it is good...just seems a bit low to me..assuming the $53k a year is about $4500 a month and she then saved $350 a month of that ($350x12x7.5 = about $30k) and lived on $4k a month..

I don't personally know a single SP that has made over $100 000, but i guess it is possible. But to see as many men as it takes to make that kind of money, is simply not a sustainable lifestyle. You would be one miserable person.....hardly worth it.

But for arguments sake, one might see as many people as humanly possible, make $100000 for a year or two, then quit.

More average, like someone else pointed out, is $4000-8000 a month. You must consider, we are only able to work 3 weeks out of 4. And even a common cold make us unable to 'work'. Heck, I took some days off because I was covered in bruises after helping a friend move. lol. might sound silly, but we have to be at our best to work.

Take away hotel expenses, advertising, hair, lingerie (i personally love a type of silk garter that is $20 per wear) and your hourly wage is lessened.

36! that is gross! Many of the Russian SP's have told me that they have often seen 8 per day and they work through their periods. They must be motivated, poor/debts or have some bad pimps.

I happen to know a girl who often sees 8-10 hh apts per day on busy days. Fav says 3 is avg day, 0-2 is bad day, 4-5 is great day financially speaking of course. Probably avg over a month 3 per working day. Diamond and Chinese Chrystal (the other one retired) say at $300/hr they could do very nicely on 2 guys a day but often will see 3 to make up for eventual slow days.

8-10 is a lot for sure, but a CL pimp once bragged to me that his girl had seen 36 men in a single day. Gross eh? Trouble is, I actually do believe him....

Thank you Maya, for bringing some reality to this thread. Seriously guys. The handful of exceptions who do well, do not define an industry.

<--------- and you think 4500 per months a lot of money? When you add rent/ mortage, food, clothes, traveling expenses, heat, hydro....and little treat on occasion or throw a kid in to the equation.

I think she did good and yes thanks Miss Maya blue :)

My experience is pretty much limited to dancers/escorts. A lot of the dancers that I know view dancing as a sideline because they are students, have a job in the civilian world or trying to build a longer term business (catering seems popular). So, they often do not work a full week which naturally limits their earnings potential..

The number of success stories in comparison to the number of sad cases of mismangement of funds is miniscule.
I know of one former dancer who got a job in chicken processing plant cutting off heads and feet and now has graduated to working to an office cleaning company washing floors and emptying waste baskets. This is an extreme example of someone who lived the dancer life and what she made was just wasted.
