Have you ever tried Ephedra (also called Ephedrine) ???
You take a couple of those pills throughout the day and I swear you will have no appetite!

The 8 mg tablets are legally available, but you can still find the 25mg tabs if you look hard enough.

PM me for more info

Ephedra works Esco, but you dont want to be the guy that suggests that...its potentially dangerous especially in the hands of someone who doesnt know how to use it

You have to be careful with it, but its still a legal herbal "drug" and taken correctly its pretty safe.

The amount of men that like fat women is prolly about the same amount of women that like fat men, not very many. Women don't look at the fat guys on the beach so why should guys look at fat women.

My point is that while people have other qualities other than their appearance but appearance is what we're mostly judged on.

Far be it for me to disagree with any members of this illustrious panel,,,,,,,BUT,,,,,,,I don't know if I get checked out on the beach babe but judging by the amount of calls I get in a day/week/month there are indeed very many men who like fat chicks. Either that or I am just damned cute. :D

^^^ I forgot to add that you're also a hijacker of other peoples' threads extraordinaire...

Anyway, Jillian, some of the advice that has been given is great. I hope that you incorporate the good stuff into your new life... that is unless Steph has you working day and night! ;)

(I hear the picture of Jillian on the Cupids slideshow was taken when she first got out of bed after a wild night out, so no need to worry guys!)

Hm, well if that is how my comments appear then I owe the original poster an apology, was never my intention to hijack her thread.
My original comments were simply to let the OP know that it is o.k. to like herself exactly how she is, with or without weight loss. I was not actually trying to self promote simply point out that if someone as big and as old as me can attract men I am certain the OP attracts far, far more......My apologies if I have offended the lady in question.

Jillian, we appreciate your candor and we salute you in your current journey. Kyra said it best that you are a beauty as is, but if for reasons of health and image you want to weigh less, then all the best and we root for you.

Keep us posted. You're an inspiration to all of us who are overweight and have thought of taking remedial action.

I don't eat carbs or sugar as is (don't like how I feel when I eat them and I don't crave them either) and my eating has always been balanced. I eat tons of fish, fresh vegs, fruit
After decades of research its the carbs not the fat that is important in what you eat. But some fruits and vegs have too many carbs for me.

As I posted on another thread - the terb weight loss club:

Highest weight: 240 lbs about 3 months ago
Current weight: 205 lbs
Height: 6 1.5
Age Old
Goal 180-190
No exercise other than fingers punching at keyboard on computer all day.

My blood pressure dropped from 140/90 (but may have been elevated since had the flu at the time) to yesterday 110/78.

I have genetics to fight. I have never been a big eater but gain weight on a normal person diet which I have had to fight all my life.

After a huge amount of research and experimentation with many diets, the only one that works for me, and am not at all hungry on is low carb.

Forget what the nutritionists have said for decades and the food pyramid - which has resulted in huge increase in obesity.

For the most part fat intake and calorie based diets are doomed to fail as they have for most. Dietary fat does not equal body fat.

It is the level of carbs that generate the insulin response which stores fat in the body. Dr. Aitkins was right and lots of medical reasons why.

I do want to do some muscle building and more exercise (muscle building more efficient than exercise for fat loss since muscle consumes more energy even at rest) but easily lose weight without any hunger on low carb alone.

When I do my 3 Summer trips to Canada 10 days each I will gain 5-7 lbs since too hard to do low carb when traveling. But will lose it again quickly when back on diet. Although hope to find a near by Carl's Jr to my hotel if you have them in Canada.

I do not eat salads but love meat. Carl's Jr. Low Carb Six Dollar Burger sheds Its Buns and 55 Grams of Carbohydrates and is great tasting.

Edit: Looks like you don't have Carl's Jr in Canada (sigh)

BTW I will go off my diet for Einer - private joke he will get.

For a long time I felt guilty since personally I am just not physically attracted to larger women, even though I have been on the large size myself.

But back when I was a speaker at national swing club conventions and hosted the Phoenix Couples Group for 3 years with over 300 participants it was great to notice that the BBW gals didn't lack for attention. There are plenty of guys who like some meat on the bones. This made me feel less guilty that I had to be honest to myself that I just am not attracted to larger women - but so glad so many others are.

Best wishes, Jullian for your success. The balloon thing sounds a bit extreme to me, but if it works and for the long term combined with low carbs and exercise it is a great example of another way to lose weight if one wants to.

On the other hand for some folks it is actually more healthy for them to not loose weight, it all depends on the person. You seem to be doing it the right way with medical supervision.

In excess its not good for blood pressure, and a host of other things.
But neither is caffeine, and a host of other "drugs"

Last time I checked ephedra is still 100% legal (in 8mg form)
Reason why higher strength became illegal to sell, is cause idiots started going overboard on it.
Like popping 20 to 30 pills in one night
No wonder people were having adverse effects

I often take it for long distance driving, I've gone as high as 150 mg spread out over a night.
I never experienced any health problems, only insomnia from taking too close at bedtime

What happened to will power and exercise? Did you even try?
Jillian eats a healthy diet, and walks a fair bit everyday. She isn't unhealthy in her lifestyle compared to many people (like me!).
Rather her body type doesn't lend itself to certain exercises, one thing many large breasted women will confirm is that jogging as an example is unbelievably uncomfortable for them. I can barely tolerate it and I'm a DD, Jillian is an FF - anything that has impact is pretty much ruled out.
Now as far as other exercises, well that's not her exercise style. She's not a gym type of person and if one doesn't enjoy a gym then they are not going to be successful at it, enjoyment in your workout is important as it needs to be a lifestyle change not a one time thing.
So what she has done, and with much consideration is decide to use medical science to give her a hand in the first few months so she can get back to a routine that she used to enjoy. Many people with weight issues find it difficult to work out at their higher weight simply because of the stress put on joints. Losing some weight off the top allows you to reach a point where you can start to implement those lifestyle changes with less risk of injury.

She stated earlier that once she has lost some of the weight and is feeling a bit better she will be going to HitFit. I personally think this is a great idea as she'll be able to go and have a workout that suits her and her lifestyle and will have someone there to coach her in her progress.

Let me know if you girls need an assistant-jogger.

Thats someone who jogs besides you and holds your breasts at the same time

Let me check with Jillian to see if it's covered in the benefits package. I'm not sure whether Breast Holder is considered Personal Training, Chiropractic, or Physiotherapy but of course we'd want you properly compensated for your hard and unselfish work.

Kyra! I am actually bigger then a FF cup, doll. I got up to a HH38 over the winter. Don't you remember me flashing them at you at Springrolls the other week?

Esco, thanks for the offer but I don't jog. I don't look good with black eyes.

What happens when you reach your ideal weight? The balloon comes out, and you now have to maintain the weight on your own? Or it stays in, in some form, so that the consumption is still limited? I know that with the bypass, it is permanent, so the loss is likely permanent, but this sounded more temporary?

LOL, that's funny.

Jillian, I wish you well. Being overweight isn't healthy it causes all sorts of problems - diabetes, heart disease, cancer, I think you made a good move. I've gained a few pounds over the past winter (currently 5'9" 188 lbs) which I know isn't drastic yet I'm not feeling well. I need to get back down to between 170-175.

Sorry to say no weight loss system can guarantee permananet results . Even with bypass surgery you can manage to put back a lot of weight especially if you have a weakness for high calorie sweets and ice cream . There has to be a change in lifestyle and eating habits to maintain permanent weight loss . We have these wonderful tools available to us now that makes the initial weight loss much easier to attain but if you revert to your old ways the weight comes back . If you are cursed with a metabolism that squeezes every calorie out of the food you ingest then its a lifelong struggle but the rewards make it worth the sacrifices .
