I love blackberries alot more then iphones. iphones you cant forward a text message with is bs.

blackberry have app application, and games, and you and send photos, take photos, and create videos. I have one business and one for personal sometimes it does get a bit distracting when both are ringing at the same time.

If you plan on doing a lot of typing, the Iphone might not be the best for you, many people complain about the size and accuracy of the virtual keyboard. It has the best mobile browser, so for surfing it's unbeatable.

Both devices have an app store, that offers many games and apps to meet your needs.

I prefer the Blackberry, because for me, a handheld is supposed to be utilitarian, and I like having an actual keyboard. Furthermore, you can replace the battery yourself without having to get the device serviced, since the Iphone's battery is built in. Furthermore, setting up email on the BB is much easier than on an Iphone, since it's done online through the Blackberry Internet Service, as opposed to setting it up on the device itself.

You may want to hold off on making your decision till around Xmas. The Iphone 3Gs is the most solid offering Apple has, but RIM is coming out with a 3G BB that will have a keyboard and a touchscreen, which is what I'm waiting for.

However, if you already have a Mac computer, the Iphone just adds to the Apple Experience.

I Had the BB Storm, was very cool, unfortunately it was a lemon. Instead of gambling further I got the BB Tour, smaller screen but excellent. Wait till xmas, comming out with bb storm 2.

I may be off-base here, but I really have to ask what (who) you submerged your phone in? How cute was she?

There' s gotta be a story there somewhere...

Didn't the Blackberry email service crash and burn a little while ago?

I have both and in alot of ways they both have similar apps and what not, but I break it down like this:

for web surfing, picture viewing and fun- Iphone

for texting, email, any productive work- Blackberry for sure.

I enjoy farting around on the Iphone, but BB is my favourite of the 2 and gets the most use... ie, it's the BB that I always have with me.

iPhone all the way, you'll have tons of fun in the app store. Loads of great free apps and many excellent apps for around a buck.

Sorta. It was during the upgrade to the latest version. It went down for less than a day. It was also the only time it did go down in its history. Google went down once in 2005 and people still rely on it more than any search engine.

Rogers is supposed to have the Storm2, but that wasn't the device I was talking about. Codenamed the Matrix, it slated to be released in Q4 or Q1 of 2010. Unlike the Storm, it has a keyboard AND a touchscreen, and is on 3G.
