I am in LA right now, and I went to yesterday afternoons game. It wasn’t even a full house, big slow lineups everywhere, and by the time we got our hotdogs and drinks and got to our seat, it was the fourth and it was ridiculous. Everyone’s got a smile on their face like it’s a normal thing lol wtf.

Tons of Bluejay fans in Dodger Stadium.

Philip
Evidently they had sellouts the previous two night games of about 42,000. I've been to 14 parks but never at Chavez Ravine.

A lifetime memory for you.

It’s awesome. I’ve never seen the Blue Jays play there until yesterday afternoon. I’ve gone two games in 2017 and 2018 with the Dodgers playing against other teams. I have a family friend that is very high up in the Dodgers head office.

Holy cow it’s like they gave the day off yesterday to 70% of their staff. The lineup outside took forever. There were no ushers inside. It was kind of ridiculous…. especially when you don’t understand the number coding seat system and you have no one to ask.

If the Jays happen to acquire Michael Lorenzen before the trade deadline, (he's on the Tigers), he's also a decent right handed bat off the bench. It's a small sample over several years, but clearly the dude can handle a bat:

That's the only stadium left on bucket list. I mean there are tons I still want to go to, but that one is truly on my bucket list. Done Fenway, Yankee, Wrigley and Petco.

Maybe Camden Yards should be on the list.
It is on my list, but not in my bucket list.

My bucket list is MUST make it. The funny part is I’ve been to LA like 4 times, but timing just hasn’t worked.

Camden and PNC are two of my favourite parks and not to long of a drive so I think I’ll make it to those.

Nor one of my favourites but I plan on going to tiger stadium since it’s so close as well.

The last Major League game at Tiger Stadium was in 1999, and the stadium's demolition was completed ten years later.

I know good for them. It’s about time the “California Angels” go for it. I hope this also means they are prepared to give the greatest player on the planet a $700 million contract. I also have a trip to New York in August and the Angels are in New York. That’s exciting. I can go to a game and watch a contending Anaheim team.

Kinda a meh deal. 2 average arms for 2 somewhat above average prospects.

Was there another discussion about cologne, this time with Chapman and Schneider?

The Angels are going to burn Ohtani out, Babe Ruth only had two seasons where he both pitched and hit full time. When he joined the Yankees, his pitching days were over.

The punters always complain about Romano after a blown save. And as you know there's more to a closer than stats, a closer needs to have the mindset to operate in a high pressure/leverage position and Romano excels in that role. He pitches better when there's a save on the line vs. when there's not one. Thrives on the pressure.
OK, so you just said it. Why don’t you dig up and post his stats when he’s called into a tie game? You wonder why people are nervous when it’s a tie game on the line?

….I’d like to see you talk about non-save situation’s with Romano. What do you think people are making this up? For what reason?

Gibby discusses this very same topic.........By the way the Jays should have kept him at the helm.
