Trump keeps trying to argue that tariffs won't make prices higher.

This election is a competion between two ridiculous candidates most
unfit to be the nation's leader in U.S. history. It is a match between
a senile and narcissistic old man who is also a failed business man
with one foot in the coffin and an airheaded bimbo who slept into
politics. That being said I do see why it is Trump who has the edge
in a close competition merely for having J D Vance on his side. Vance
is a mega supporter of Israel. As the POTUS Vance will take the U.S.
to an unprecedented level as Israel's poodle. Israel wants the Republicans
to win not because Netanyahu has any love for Trump. He would just love
to see Trump drop dead the month after inauguration to let Israel's next
lackey take over the White House.

Just look at the economists. The WSJ and Goldman-Sachs - not bleeding heart liberals - all give Harris economic plans much higher ratings than Trump. Trump has no idea how tariffs work. He has no idea how economies work. The Biden administration economic numbers, on any measure, blow away Trumps numbers. Remember Trump said the economy would crash, the stock market would crash, etc if Biden got elected. Exactly the opposite happened. The only problem was inflation - caused by the pandemic as every country had inflation once the pandemic was over - and the Fed and Biden has brought it down to normal.
What many of you still haven't figured out is that President is not a one person job. You surround yourself with the best expertise and get the best advice and make decisions accordingly.
Harris will assemble real experts- including republicans - in her cabinet. She'll take advice from the best minds.
Trump will assemble yes men, amateurs, mercenaries, fellow con artists and criminals in his. You don't need expertise of any kind to work for trump, just a willingness to kiss his arse and break the law for him. Last time he had some experts initially in his cabinet, and within a year or two he chased them all off. He was hiring off watching pundits on Fox News. He won't try for experts this time. He'll fire generals til he finds one who will use his troops against US citizens. He'll find an AG that will arrest all his opponents (BTW he tried to do that first time but was constantly rebuffed. He won't make that mistake again). Trump is like every third world megalomaniac leader. Co-mingle the family business with the country's, use the military and courts against your enemies, let your loyalists run free. Rule of law applies only to your enemies.
Trump will be wide open for bribes. He was with Egypt, he'll be even more so now.
The choice is that stark.

The sad reality here is that Trump's MAGA cultists do not care or believe facts. They believe him, despite his looooong history of lying and failing to deliver on his promises. Many lack the ability to think critically, and just believe whatever he says....Like tariffs will be good for the US economy, despite history showing it would be anything but. I know there are several MAGAts who left the cult when they realized it was full of shit, but Rachel Maddow ain't going to sway anyone, no matter how factual she is.
Mark my words, if Trump wins, we'll see many of his supporters whine and cry when they are negatively affected by his policies. It could be the farmer who looses all that cheap migrant labour or the restaurant that cannot find support staff....or those who see their health insurance be cancelled or premiums skyrocket due to their pre-existing conditions. It will be a shit show. They will be the definition of those who vote for the leopard eating my face party....
