LOL. There's a liquor store in Dubai that sells to westerners. It use to close during Ramadan out of respect for Muslims. On second thought you were in Riyadh, so that would be a long drive. On the other hand Damman is a ghost town on the weekends for young Saudi men, they're all in Bahrain, where the liquor flows freely, the belly dancers entice, and the Russian SP's provide.

I'm pissed - this is way too easy. Do you how hard it was to get liquor when I was a kid?? We had to bribe older brothers or put planning in place that was as complicated as a mission impossible movie. Now they can just wear a burka ?? How do you build character if it's that easy ?

Fortunately I happen to read the article in the SUN yesterday, as the link doesn't work, and the part that really hit me was the comments from the representative from the LCBO, who basically said, we have our guidelines in place and they work well most of the time so who cares. That's more troubling to me.
