Kevs pretty bummed out with the out come of the last two games with the Leafs. I'm not sure what happened and how a talented group of players can lose to those totally useless clowns called the Leafs. ( I missed both games) I know it wasn't because the Leafs were playing well.

OH well they have to move on and spank the Senators ass, just because they can. But first The Bloc Quebecois Canadien have to feel the Canucks fury. --- Kev

Watching a Sens game, commando style, is allowed. Doing so while watching the Leafs? Well, accidents can happen then! :)

You must hate being at the Garage and seeing a sea of blue and white and hearing the chant GO LEAFS GO
Yes i do.

But whats really sad is these fans having to come out west because there own useless goverment that they elected can't provide them with a job.

Its okay. They'll thump on the Habs and then teach the Senators a thing or two. ( I do like the Senators however unlike the Leafs) --- Kev

God's team......the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Sorry Kevs.......but you're gonna have to face it sooner or later. Your team is going nowhere. Standings as of November mean very little. (ask the Bruins)
You're stuck with a bunch of overrated stiffs and this season has been all smoke and mirrors. The Sedins' are total pansies and pull a Houdini after the first face-wash. Shut down Bertuzzi and Naslund and it's all over.
By the way...........in case you haven't noticed it yet, you need a goalie badly and quickly. May I suggest the absolutely superb Mr. Trevor Kidd?
We'll take Jovo off your hands and call it a good deal for both teams.
Oh yeah..........when are you guys gonna go back to those lovely yellow sweaters of yesteryear? Very tasteful indeed!

Craven.

Kev, we'll trade you Sundin and Mogilny straight up for Naslund and Bertuzzi. What do you say?

God’s team LOL, even God has sympathy for a bunch of sad sacks that haven’t sniffed the Stanley Cup finals in 37 years.

over-rated stiffs? You must referring to the current Laffs $65 million payroll of aging overpaid underachievers who had their asses bounced out of the playoffs in the first round last year. The Loafes are a joke!

Go Sens Go !!!

Now that says it all. Your team is the consumate underacheiving, playoff choking, scared of the Mighty Leafs, inferiority complex ridden team in the NHL. Hope things get better in Sens land so we can bounce you in the playoff again...lol

Underachieving? Are you kidding? The Sens went further with a $30 million payroll last year than the Laffs and their $60 million underachieving and overpaid sad sack team. The Loafes have been underachieving for 37 Years! Win a few Stanley Cups (not back when there was only six teams in the league) then come back here and tell me how good the Leafs are!

Playoff chokers? Are you kidding? The Leafs have only made it the conference final what? 3 or 4 times in the last 37 years, and choked every time! If loosing to Carolina in the conference final wasn’t choking, then I don’t know what is.

Inferiority complex? That’s exactly what Leaf fans have with the Sens, you WISH you had a team like Ottawa instead of your aging overpaid and underachieving sad sack team that got bounced out of the first round last year!

Frustrated and bitter Leaf fans need someone to blame for 37 years of futility and failure, so a ten year old expansion team like the Sens makes an easy target. Can’t blame Detroit, Jersey, Dallas or Colorado, those teams have actually won the cup since the NHL expanded form six teams.

For Toronto fans beating a ten year old expansion team in the playoffs must feel like winning the Stanley Cup, but when you haven’t sniffed the finals in 37 years, you’ll take whatever you can get!

Oh yeah, Go Sens Go !!!

Here and there
Goob -- I think common sense has slipped a notch or two -- maybe down to 84.

Two wins in a row and they're planning the parade route (again...!)

And if the Leafs are indeed God's team, then it only shows that the Great Almighty does indeed have a wicked sense of humour !! ;)

Well I guess their smoke and mirrors have been pretty effective for awhile now. Vancouver has been improving its performance every year for several years now. In case you didn't notice Vancouver had 104 points last season to Toronto's 98 and we actually made it past the first round.

Overrated stiffs, LOL, take a look at your lineup, a bunch of highly paid, washed-up, l0sers. You guys would be lucky to get either Naslund or Bertuzzi for both Sundin and Mogilny. Mogilny's prime were his days in Buffalo and early days in Vancouver. He hasn't been a Superstar for about 8 seasons. I'll admit Sundin is still a pretty good player but he hasn't played his best hockey in several years either. While Sundins stats over the past few years aren't too shabby, compare them with Naslund and Bertuzzi's stats over the same period and you will see he doesn't hold a candle to either of them.

01-02 Till Present
1) Sundin - 172 Pts 85 Goals +7
2) Bertuzzi - 207 Pts 90 Goals +41
3) Naslund - 221 Pts 98 Goals +45

Bertuzzi and Naslund are #1 and 2 in plus/minus right now and are both in the top ten for points. Add in Morrisons 158 Pts 56 Goals and +47 and you have the best line in hockey right now.

As for depth Vancouver has 10 players with double digit point totals and not one of them has a negative +/- rating versus only 6 for the Maple Laughs, 2 of whom are defensive liabilities.

Leafs = Rangers of the North

Your “mighty “ Leafs are a mediocre team at best and only a few notches better than the Rangers ( at least the Rangers won a cup in ’94?)

Look at your $65 million payroll of perennial underachievers:

Sundin $9 million !!!, Sundin failed to manage a point-a-game last year in the playoffs and then produced a single goal in a seven-game loss to Philadelphia in the playoffs.

Then there's Owen Nolan, nearing status as a total bust in a Leaf uniform, with four goals in 22 games to show for his $6.5 million salary.

What other team in the NHL would pay McCabe $3.5 million, Roberts $4.25 million and Belfour $7 million ??? Well, the Rangers maybe!

The Dud Twins, Reichel and Renberg, will pull down a combined $5.45 million this season. They have a combined 6 goals this year !

Free agent signee Bryan Marchment isn't expected to produce offence, but being pointless and a minus-6 suggests he isn't doing much at either end.

Signing Klee was just a desperation move to appease fans

Want to know why all the vets (Gilmour, Nolan, Nieuwendyk, Belfour, Housley, Corson, etc…) want to go to Toronto to wind down their careers? The Toronto Maple Leafs are an exclusive country club. Most country clubs are expensive, so instead of retiring and spending money to join one, they just come to the Leafs and get paid to be a member.

Your team is the New York Rangers of the north, full of stars paid millions of dollars who underacheive, year in and year out.

Go Sens Go !!!

Hoping for an Ottawa and Vancouver final !

Hockey banter, i love hockey banter.

"Montreal thanx for coming out don't forget your parting gifts on the way out the door." The good thing about this club is they have a past history to look back on, because whats been on the ice these last few years is really pathetic.

Kev, we'll trade you Sundin and Mogilny straight up for Naslund and Bertuzzi. What do you say?
What i say is if i was stuck with those two saps i would be looking for the same deal, and we had Mogilny when he could play "bin there done that."

Craven Morasian...

Give your head a shake did you not see or at least see the hilights of the Canuck and Hab game? Did you not see Nasy and 'tuzzi light it up. Also the Sedins are having there best year yet. (its about time, thats a given) The pairing with King and the Sedins is awesome. The are now known as the Mattress Line, two Twins and a King. God its tough talking hockey with those who are in the dark. (no offence)

The Habs felt the Canucks rath, and know its the Senators turn. I would ask some of you to bet, but i would feel guilty taking your money. --- Kev
