The fact that you will require a booster every 5 months is the clearest sign that vaccines only have a limited utility. So, now you have all vaccinated neatly packed into the Leafs game, with full knowledge that the diminishing efficacy allows for infections and transmission. Sounds like the "science table" got this right.
In a pandemic? I'm winning because my Loved ones and Friends remained covid free. Because we never went to triage. Because science and common sense prevented deaths, and permanent damage to people.

Flu killed 50 million, 500 million got it. We beat that. Thats all that matters.
No, it doesn't.
It means it is at a constant, expected rate.
That rate can be anything, high or low. It just means it isn't spiking up.
We would love if it gets down to the flu, or preferably, below that. But there is no reason to assume it will be endemic at that level.
Nothing is wrong with wanting it to be at a level where we don't feel we need to take active precautions but that isn't what endemic means.

We have only entered into the climactic fall two days ago. This year was very unusual in Ontario. The flu season hasn't started, yet.

How many people on this website who chose not to vaccinate had Covid-19? How many ended up in hospital or ICU? My guess would be none or close to none.

The fact that we have no clue what possible further waves will look like, set dates are just dumb. I would expect a non-campaigning politician would give the steps we will follow and state what indicators will be used to make that determination.
