Hope they find all these Wall St Bankster thieves. Can't believe Madoff did it all by himself for all those years without anyone helping him.BallzDeep said:I saw today where the Stamford accomplice is starting to sing, to try to cut a deal.

Most of the regular Joe's who ended up being ruined by Madoff didn't have a clue what he was doing or even he was involved. It's the middle man who funneled money into a funds of funds, who background should have had those bells go off. They may have but no one listened, except one or two whistleblowers whom the SEC turned a deaf ear and ignored them. People even committed suicide because of his game.BallzDeep said:From the investors point of view, Madof had been around for a couple decades, so people must have thought he was legit.
Our society always likes to blame the victim, allot of these people were regular joes who worked all their lives and knew nothing about investing or that they should spread their money around, it's easy for savy investors to say they should have spread it around.
It's almost impossible to sue the a government agency. They have more money and time than you do.BallzDeep said:Why can't the sec be sued and be responsible for their errors?
Isn't a government agency and their employees protected by the law of estopel (check spelling and law)? Is there a lawyer in the house? Are governments immune from lawsuits except when they acted with malicious and deliberate intent to harm you?blackrock13 said:It's almost impossible to sue the a government agency.
