Need Advice

My friend emailed me a # of files with interesting pictures which I would like to share with fellow terbites.

Could some one advise me on how to copy & paste all these files (plural)? I have tried the standard copy/paste approach, but it didn't work.

Hey all you computer wiz kids, tell me how & you can view these pictures.

post the pictures on a hosting site such as Ripway.com http://ripway.com/ and post the links here.You cannot post pictures directly on the TERB forums

These are my suggestions (though someone else will probably have better ones):

You can make ONE of the pictures as your avator (sig pic). There is a thread in here about how to make a sig pic (can search for it) or you can find anyone of Baci's posts and he has a link to that thread in his sig.

For the multiple pictures, the only thing I can suggest is uploading them to a publicly accessible server, like http://photobucket.com/. Then, in your posts, just provide a link to those pics on photobucket's host.

Before you do anything, you may want to check with your ISP to see if they provide free web hosting space. For example, my ISP provides a certain amount of host space for me to put publicly accessible stuff. They also provide instructions on how to upload and how to access. Your ISP may also do the same.

And a question. I can only watch the wmv. files. The avi. files just do not play. Any hints as to how to get them to play? I am on a Mac Powerbook G4
