Which Formula One Grand Prix had one car in the front row at the start, because the car that won pole position in qualifying was not in the race?
1982 German Grand Prix.

Didier Pironi won pole position with his Q1 time, but he suffered a career-ending injury during heavy rain in Q2. Ferrari did not withdraw his entry, so pole position was vacant at the start of the race.

Which NHL coach won more games during the playoffs in the year in which he won the Stanley Cup than he did in the same regular season?
Larry Robinson with the New Jersey Devils.
Lou Lamoriello shocked everyone when he fired the Devils head coach a few games before the playoffs started and put Robinson in his place. I forget the exact year.

Correct!

Robinson replaced Robbie Ftorek on March 23, 2000.

Robinson had previously coached the Los Angeles Kings for 4 seasons, (1995-96 - 1998-99), with one playoff appearance/ 0 playoff wins.

Ftorek was the MVP of the USA's 1976 Canada Cup team, and the WHA MVP in 1976-77. He is a member of three Hockey Halls of Fame: USA, WHA and AHL.

One Canadian former Toronto Blue Jay hit a home run in his first Major League at bat, and another hit a home run in his last Major League at bat. Both players have been inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.

a) The first player has three World Series championship rings as a coach, with two different teams. The same man managed both teams.

b) The second player made his Major League pitching debut in his final big league season. He pitched in 4 games, completed four innings, and allowed no runs and no walks, while striking out two batters and allowing two hits.

Name either or both.
Dave McKay

Only 3 players played games for the Montreal Canadiens during both the 1985/1986 and 1992/1993 Stanley Cup winning seasons? Who are they? (Hint - These were all "regular" players when they were with the Habs, not guys that played a few games one season. 1 easy, 1 fairly easy, 1 hard)

Answer - 1 Down (Patrick Roy)
2 to go.
Brian Skrudland...Tricky question and not to many people are going to get that.

Correct!

McKay homered in his first Major League at bat, and won World Series rings with the Oakland A's and St. Louis Cardinals, (2X), as part of Tony LaRussa's staff.

He holds the modern day record for most career goals scored, (683), in minor league hockey.

What's his name?

Four NHL head coaches won the Stanley Cup in their first season* as an NHL head coach.

Name as many as you can.

* this question is limited to the 'post Original Six' era, after the 1966-67 season.
Three easy ones are Dan Bylsma who won with Pittsburgh Penquins, Al MacNeil who won with Montreal Canadiens, and Claude Ruel who also won with Habs
I will have to look up the other guy

Update: I looked it up, but won't post the name as you requested below.
Just looked at a list of Stanley Cup winners and their coaches, and it popped out. Should have got it without looking it up, but I will let someone else complete the list.

I assume Ftorek got a Stanely Cup ring that year. Talk about mixed feelings.

Auston Matthews won the Calder Memorial Trophy as NHL Rookie of the Year after the 2016-17 season. He was the first Maple Leaf to win the award since the Original Six.

Three Maple Leafs won the Calder during the 1960s.

a) The first is a member of the Hall of Fame, and his Maple Leafs' number is retired. He was born in Noranda, Quebec.

K Douglas correctly Identified Dave Keon.

b) The second was the first defenseman to win the award. He played in more than half of the Leafs' games each regular season for five consecutive seasons, but his name appears on the Stanley Cup only once, because he was assigned to Rochester for the AHL playoffs in two of the Leafs' Cup winning seasons.

c) The third played for Toronto in both the NHL and the WHA. He had two separate stints as a Maple Leaf, and played for the Philadelphia Flyers in between them.

Name as many as you can.
