A ww2 vet served America has a lot of pride, gets strip of his pride, that's the biggest sin. Also pure racism. Questioning a black man if he was a ww2 vet? How many black slaves fought and died in the civil war FFS. Complete disgrace!
I find it disgusting that you took advantage of this story to further your political agenda.
You may think that but Chilis is damage control mode now. They are taking this very seriously. And you can't stop peoples impressions on Chilis cause this the age of trial by social media.
In the U.S. many civilians are ex-military. (Remember that fake Canadian soldier who was outed a couple of years ago?)

You are right that we don't have a full story and likely never will, but the video shows without any doubt how the manager behaved. How they got to that situation is largely irrelevant because the manager is still wrong. Media lies, but video doesn't.

The fact that Obama is still technically president doesn't matter. Trump has been spewing out racist and divisive rhetoric throughout his campaign from day one. Therefore, as long as Trump is in the picture making these type of racist rants, you can't really blame Obama.
How many are ex-military? How many were in the restaurant at the same time this incident happened? We'll never know and it's irrelevant since the man produced proper military ID unless we want to go down some crazy conspiracy road. The bottom line is that the manager behaved improperly by getting into an argument and taking away the food.

Things like this will just get worse. White racists in the west will continue to push and push and push until blacks and other minorities push back in the same way. Peaceful protests solve nothing. If they want respect they have to act in the same vile and disgusting ways as the right wing, conservative, racist neanderthals do.
It is a lose lose proposition..... fight back and they are labelled as savages. Don't fight back and things just keep going.
I think it is the responsibility of moderate and liberals to reign in the extremists..... that goes for both sides of the coin. I honestly believe in the US many blacks and whites are pretty reasonable..... too bad the news focuses on the cracked pots.

Sadly it's what sells newspapers. And yes in the US blacks and whites are very friendly. Heck, it's a white guy who helped fund Black Lives Matter to get them in the spotlight:

True, it's just on everyone's mind because of the campaign especially with the wall and the ban.
This is it. For the past decade+ people have been cautious about expressing racist opinions in public. That has changed with the way the campaign went and the vocal support Trump received. For the alt-right Trump winning serves as an endorsement of their views.
