I find it disgusting that you took advantage of this story to further your political agenda.A Trump supporter told him that he was lying, and that blacks were not allowed to serve at the time.

You may think that but Chilis is damage control mode now. They are taking this very seriously. And you can't stop peoples impressions on Chilis cause this the age of trial by social media.Second, boycotting Chili's as a result of a single employee's idiotic actions is a ridiculous idea of justice.
Trump is the master of this tactic. No one better than Trump.I find it disgusting that you took advantage of this story to further your political agenda.
In the U.S. many civilians are ex-military. (Remember that fake Canadian soldier who was outed a couple of years ago?)How many civilians know what a non-regulation uniform looks like?
Some of the alt-right wish to be back in the 1800's but the rest of us (and the Democratic Party) have moved forward since then. You mean like the established Democrats in the 1800's? Or is that too racist?
Reality check for you: we're on a board where men rate women based on a numerical scale and shit on each other for shilling or white-knighting. And you want to be play the "adult" now?Butt hurt? Are you 12? I voted for him why the hell would I be "butt hurt"? BTW nice job he's doing repealing those weed and prostitution laws huh?
Agreed insanely ballsy and stupid (I'd bet it was more the latter) that he took his food away from him. I couldn't do it.At the very least, it was extremely poor judgement.
1)the man was recording him. He should have known it could have gone on Youtube, or to the police, or Chili's.
2)it is extremely rude and inhumane as a person to just grab someone's food from them, especially a vet. What kind of person does that?
3)there was no benefit from taking the food. It was just going to end up in the trash.
It's something I never, ever would have considered doing, let alone actually done. Imagine yourself in this exact same situation? What would you have done as the manager?
Me:
I would have thanked the Trump supporter for their concern. I would then ask the waitress if they checked ID. If yes, then no further action. If no, 50/50 I would ask the man to show ID.
When he showed ID, my next reaction would be:
"Oh, okay. Thank you, sir. I'm sorry, it's not that I didn't believe you, but we have to make sure that we get proper ID, and it seems no one checked. Can we get you anything else?"
The manager was on a power trip.
How many are ex-military? How many were in the restaurant at the same time this incident happened? We'll never know and it's irrelevant since the man produced proper military ID unless we want to go down some crazy conspiracy road. The bottom line is that the manager behaved improperly by getting into an argument and taking away the food.In the U.S. many civilians are ex-military. (Remember that fake Canadian soldier who was outed a couple of years ago?)
It is a lose lose proposition..... fight back and they are labelled as savages. Don't fight back and things just keep going.Things like this will just get worse. White racists in the west will continue to push and push and push until blacks and other minorities push back in the same way. Peaceful protests solve nothing. If they want respect they have to act in the same vile and disgusting ways as the right wing, conservative, racist neanderthals do.
Yup, racism has always and will sadly always be there. Trump just made it much easier for the disenfranchised white populace to lash out at different people.I think people need to wake the fuck up.
Trump has nothing to do with what happened. I hate that guy and everything he did to become president. But he won.
Racism is alive and well. It's my opinion that many people underestimate how much racism there still is in North America.
There are racists who supported Trump. But Trump didn't make them that way. They were like that before his campaign.
Yup, racism has always and will sadly always be there. Trump just made it much easier for the disenfranchised white populace to lash out at different people.
Sadly it's what sells newspapers. And yes in the US blacks and whites are very friendly. Heck, it's a white guy who helped fund Black Lives Matter to get them in the spotlight:It is a lose lose proposition..... fight back and they are labelled as savages. Don't fight back and things just keep going.
I think it is the responsibility of moderate and liberals to reign in the extremists..... that goes for both sides of the coin. I honestly believe in the US many blacks and whites are pretty reasonable..... too bad the news focuses on the cracked pots.
True, it's just on everyone's mind because of the campaign especially with the wall and the ban.I really don't believe Trump made it 'easier'...

...the ilk of a racist is such that it doesn't matter who the President is or will be. The above link is absolutely disgraceful.
Are you drunk or on medication?Reality check for you: we're on a board where men rate women based on a numerical scale and shit on each other for shilling or white-knighting. And you want to be play the "adult" now?
And again, what does "JUSTIN FOR LIFE" or repealing weed laws or prostitution laws have to do with this topic? Answer: absolutely nothing.
You are right that we don't have a full story and likely never will, but the video shows without any doubt how the manager behaved. How they got to that situation is largely irrelevant because the manager is still wrong. Media lies, but video doesn't.
This is it. For the past decade+ people have been cautious about expressing racist opinions in public. That has changed with the way the campaign went and the vocal support Trump received. For the alt-right Trump winning serves as an endorsement of their views.Yup, racism has always and will sadly always be there. Trump just made it much easier for the disenfranchised white populace to lash out at different people.
